Bronze Eyes: Colour 4 Eyeshadow Quad, Take 2!

Bronze Eyes: Colour 4 Eyeshadow Quad, Take 2!

Happy Monday!  Depending whether you’re on holiday or not, I suppose 🙂  I actually did this look on Saturday, but with all of the Riveting reviews, I decided to hold off on posting it until later on.

You will need the following…

For eyes, start by applying Soft Ochre paint pot as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. With the 239 and water-based mixing medium (or water), apply Stacked 2! pigment (the gold) all over the lid area. Using the 239, apply Manila Paper eyeshadow on the inner third of the eyelid. Next, apply Aztec Brick eyeshadow on the middle third of the eyelid and lightly blend with the inner corner. Darken the outer third of the lid with Creole Beauty eyeshadow, with the 239, on the outer corner and lid. Add depth to the crease by lightly tapping Star Violet eyeshadow with the 226. Lightly tap and brush Flip eyeshadow directly above the crease to soften. To finish the eyeshadow look, sweep Ricepaper eyeshadow as a highlighter on the brow bone. Bring everything together by applying Honey eyeliner on the lower lash line, Penultimate on the upper lash line, and sweeping lashes with Plushlash mascara.

For cheeks, apply Springshine blush ombre to the apples of the cheeks and sweep upwards towards the temple with the 116.

For lips, apply Colour Me Coral lipstick first, and then layer Purple Rage lipglass for a complementing lip.

Another fabulous look, Christine! We’re still waiting for the collection, to be launched next month, in the UK but I can’t wait to try out some of the looks you’ve done. 🙂

Pretty! (: I was just wondering.. I’ve noticed sometimes people put eyeshadows on their lower lashline to match their eyeshadow on top while other times they don’t. Does eyeshadow on the lower lashline make a difference? thanks Christine!

I like the bright colored lipstick & for some reason the eye shadow colors remind me of a sunset (I think cause of the gold in it) – pretty 🙂

Okay, I finally have to ask this question. HOW do you use the 24/7 liners on your lower lash line without getting little eyeliner blobs stuck on your lashes?? I have tried it with several shades and I end up irritating the heck out of my eyes trying to de-clump the lower lashes.

At first I wanted the quad…
Then I thought I had some dupes, and convinced myself out of it
Then I looked at your looks with it, and wanted it
Then I talked myself out of it…
Now I think i’m going to have to get it

All this thiking about makeup can’t be good for school *sigh*

I love how you added the color star violet to the look. It really brings the other colors out more. I will definitely use star violet next time. I love purples and neutrals. This is one of my favorite looks that you created. Great work. 🙂

I like that blush on you! And I love Color Me Coral lipstick 🙂 I wasn’t thinking I’d get any of the lipsticks from that collection but once I swatched it I fell in love with it 🙂

Oh these lips KILLED me, Christine! Colour Me Coral is not really my thing so I’m not going to buy it but was going crazy trying to figure out how to do something similar with Purple Rage. I finally layered it over Lollipop Loving – did the trick! The green didn’t even show through, just the frost. (It’s great, because I adore LL, but it looks flat-terrible on me by itself. Always trying to find more uses for it.)

I’m impressed with how nice Springshine looks (it seemed so *brown* in swatch). I’m resisting the blush ombres because of how big and expensive they are but I might have to get a bronzy blush that’s more matte than my beloved Otherworldly.

(The eyes are great too, of course! As usual! 🙂 Love your use of Star Violet – too bad I swapped mine away as I never used it, haha.)
