Another look back at the Urban Decay Born to Run 21-Pan Eyeshadow Palette ($49.00 for 0.42 oz.) with some color combinations to try! This time, I’ve focused in on using more of the pink/plum tones.

About This Series

Each look idea is centered around a “quad” of four shades with the expectation that one might bring in the appropriate brow bone or additional transitional shade based on skin tone. Consider these ideas a jumping off point with four “core” colors that can inspire your next look. For reference, based on how I usually apply makeup, I would consider applying the shades in this order: inner lid, middle of lid, outer lid/crease, and crease/above crease or lid.

Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I have and love this palette but I don’t think there is any force on earth that would compel me ever to use Hell Ride or, for that matter, Still Shot. Well, okay, if someone promised me that wearing those 2 shadows for a week (or a month, a year…) would rid the world of the current Pandemic, THAT would be enough to force to me to wear them but they are 2 shades that I just cannot see myself ever wanting to use. Double Life and Ignite have been a stretch for me, though I have to admit that I have come to like them, though I do worry that some of the people around me might find them jarring.
