The Sand palette looks very pretty! Decent balance of mattes to shimmers too. The Surf palette looks like one to miss for me though, as there is only one matte shade!

WOWWWW i’m loving both eye shadow palettes!!! Although i am in winter at the moment (i live in Australia) i can definitely see myself wearing these beautiful colours when we reach summer! Particularly the beautiful golden and blue shadows.

I don’t think I own anything by BB but this all looks quite nice. Looking forward to your reviews! (Although the new Marc Jacobs stuff is still #1 on my “waiting for Christine’s reviews before I buy” list. 🙂

I’m pretty sure the 24 Karat Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick is a repromote from a holiday collection; in fact, I think your review made me buy it!

I completely agree with you. I’m always interested in the promo images from Bobbi Brown way more than other brands, but then I find the products to be too sheer and/or difficult to work with for my liking. I’ll still keep checking out Christine’s reviews for BB though, hopefully I’ll find something. LOL.

Love Bobbi Brown corrector and Lipsticks but not the eyeshadow palettes. Give me eyeshadow I can actually see on my eyes. If you like the colors in the Surf palette I would suggest the Summer Glo palette by Lora c for $24

You are so right. I have seen the palettes today at our local beauty store in Cologne, Germany. I was more than disappointed. The colours are so sheer, you don’t even had any visible effect on the skin. I really scrached the surface with my nails to get a better colour pay off, but even then it was just slightly more visible. For that price I expect really more. Especially, since the palettes costs 75 € (about 100 $) in Germany.

Love Love Love the eye-shadow palettes, Totally noticed these while looking through the selfridges department. Am definitely going to get my hands on them! Can feel myself posting a bunch of fab make up tutorials using these.

The cheek palettes look great but I’m skeptical about the eye shadow palettes as Bobbi Brown’s eye palettes have underwhelmed me the last few years.

I bought the surf palette and it was such a disappointment. A good portion of the shades do not adhere at all on the lid and the pigmentation is lacking. The Sand palette…a little better. The lip sheers are beautiful but are repromotes from another BB release from a few years ago.

Musings of a Muse has a review on it. She said don’t waste your money on the Surf palette. Basically, skip both but if you had to choose one go for Sand. I am so disapointed, They look beautiful but were way to sheer and glimmery.

BB used to be my fave brand, but nothing she’s introduced in the past year really interests me. I already have a couple of her nude eye palettes, which are quite good.I have read terrible reviews of the Surf palette so far. I did purchase the new bronze eyeliner though, and I love it! (the LE bronze shadow stick –holiday 2013 was great too!) i am awaiting your reviews before purchasing one of the new lip colors!

These palettes are so, so stunning. I love the neutrals, but the pops of sea foam green and aquamarine are so lovely to see. I don’t know if I’d be brave enough to wear them, but they are definitely beautiful.

Hi,
I have four of the bobbi palettes, and I use them every day. It’s true that the sparkles are gritty to the touch, but when you put them on your eye they don’t feel gritty and they look amazing! I get compliments all the time. I feel like an artist every morning because it’s like playing and for me , that’s what make up is all about.
