Bobbi Brown Sunrise Glow Highlighting Powder Review, Photos, Swatches

Sunrise Glow
Bobbi Brown Sunrise Glow Highlighting Powder ($48.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a light-medium pink with cooler undertones and warmer pink and gold shimmer along with faint gold sparkle. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out without trouble.
The formula is designed to give “high-impact, buildable radiance.” The finish was frosted to metallic with slight sparkle particles visible on the skin, but the more I buffed and blended the powder on my cheeks, the less I saw. It added a smidgen of noticeable color to my skin tone, but it may work more as a highlighting blush on lighter skin tones. The texture was soft, smooth, and not too dense nor so soft that it became powdery in the pan. The highlighter lasted for eight and a half hours on m e before fading.

Formula Overview
$48.00/0.28 oz. - $171.43 Per Ounce
The formula is designed to give “high-impact, buildable radiance.” Most shades had medium or more intense pigmentation with moderate to intense shimmer, as some shades were more metallic and/or had fine sparkles. However, the powder buffs and diffuses particularly well and has a tendency to "melt" a bit more on the skin as a result. The texture was soft, smooth, and not too dense nor so soft that it became powdery in the pan. This formula typically lasted eight hours or so on my skin.

I like this! It adds a touch of SOMETHING to your cheeks, which I’m digging!
Yay! Glad to hear it 🙂
I was like, gee this looks familiar 😉 Yep, pretty but way too close to Sunset Glow, which I already have
Right?? I am surprised the newer three weren’t more unique.
This one is so pretty and I’m loving the cooler pink base with the golden hued shimmer! However, I think I will go for its $8 dupe since I hardly ever wear anything very pink. So CP Iced it shall be!
Perfect 😀
I love how this looks like just a sheer wash of color or a pinker highlight! Very pretty!
This is a beautiful shade. I, too, own Sunset Glow and wondered if the two might be close.
I think they’re likely too close to own unless you use Sunset Glow 24/7 and in theory could use a backup.
I’m going to say that this one is a pass. Curious if Tawny is on your other cheek. I’m digging it, whatever it is!!
It might be – I can’t recall what I was swatching along with the BBs (I write down the side I’m photographing only) and if there was anything else or just the Bobbi Brown ones this time around.
Thanks, Christine. I’m not so sure it is Tawny. Will keep an eye out for possible candidates as I read your reviews. I think it’s ingenious to have different blush shades on your cheeks!
Gorgeous shade, but I am liking the Colour Pop one better.
I love this! This is one of the prettiest highlighters I’ve seen yet!!
Yayy!
Beautiful but not worth the money to me. By the way, your eye look and lips in this picture are outstanding!
Aw, thank you, Betty!!
ugh I love this one too, I don’t want to pay that price!
I can see that this is darker than Sunset Glow. Do my eyes deceive me or does this not have multicolor shimmer?
Oh I like!
