Bobbi Brown Spring 2012 Collection: Neons & Nudes

Bobbi Brown Spring 2012 Collection: Neons & Nudes

“The most modern way to wear bright color is as an accent on an otherwise neutral face.” — Bobbi Brown

The Neons & Nudes Collection features a unique pairing of bright, neon colors that are balanced by soft nudes and neutrals. Pair a soft, nude eye with a neon lip or a bright eye with a nude lip depending on your mood.

Love the neon shade lip colors and the nude palette! There’s no such thing as too many nude palettes…right? Or so I say because I’m totally buying it! 😉

I feel like I’ve seen these sorts of colours before, but the Ultra Violet shadow looks amazing and I generally love her shimmer wash shades. It does seem sort of strange to be looking at Spring collections on a day when we’re expecting our first major snowstorm of the winter, but I’ll take it…

Can I just say I love that promo picture? I already want everything from this. EVERYTHING.

Also, is it possible the sheer lipgloss is supposed to be layered with the lipsticks?? How fun would that be?

As a die-hard fan of BB this newest release is super exciting…this shades are bright to the BB family but a welcome addition. I’m curious find out what they have done with the pot rouges since I heard that those will be reformulated and re-released in January.

Omg….I want ALL the lipglosses, the peach blush, and the eyeshadow palette. Simply gorgeous. I love that the glosses will offer a sheer wash of bright color.

First, the products look stellar. Great concept but I keep struggling with their artistic direction and execution. “Python & Peonies” got me all confused. It was a really awesome palette, but I didn’t get why it was important to name an entire collection after that. Or using tortoise shell glasses as inspiration. Random, but ok. And now we have the promo pic that looks like a red light disctrict sign. Neons & Nudes make me think of Miami’s beaches, not a creepy basement. I’m puzzled.

This collection actually really excites me! Any chance you will be reviewing any of these items, Christine? And thanks for the post, can’t wait to see them in person ASAP!

Im really looking forward to the mix of vibrants and neutrals of this collection. I was so unimpressed with the holiday collections, except for a wee bit of LM twilight. I resisted them. It was hard!

We got the collection at our counter at Lord & Taylor last week.

I. Love. IT.

The purple gloss is amazing over the neon pink lip color.
The “nude” blushes are pretty bright and pigmented.
Ultra Violet was in her brights palette and I am SO HAPPY to see it return.
I am so glad some of these are permanent! I never want the felt tip liner to go away, though. It’s excellent.

I love this look. I will be rocking it ALL SPRING.

LOVE the palette–I will need to see it in person to determine how warm the colors are…and I must also have the pink lipstick. Nothing is prettier than a bright mouth with a nude eye.

I just wish Bobbi Brown would come up with names better than “Neon Pink” then have a one word description for the product (pink). I know she’s like the queen of simple/neutral makeup looks but the product descriptions just lack important details (and make them sound boring).

Other than that, the products look amazing in the photos and I can’t wait for the collection to come out!

Just try out the palette and neon pink. I thought I could not pull bright lipstick, but ended surprise. I love how it looks on me, got the palette, but the pink lipstick is sold out in the store and I have to go somewhere else to grab it.
The eye shadow of the palette is not that sheer. The combination is just perfect for me.

I just got the eyeliner at Nordstroms. The make up artist also put the blush on my cheek (the pink) over a bronzer and it looks gorgeous. She also topped it off with the sheer hot pink lip gloss. So pretty! I wish I could get it all…

The payoff of the Ultra Violet eyeshadow is awful.. Little to none fallout from the silver reflects. With a primer it’s very patchy, and extremely sheer. You’d have to pack it on and use a colored base (which is gorgeous) to get the pan color. Disappointed!

Oooh! This is thrilling! Thanks christine! Please keep us posted when will it be released officially, i want to buy their lipsticks! 🙂

I love BB, and this collection looks so beautiful,— on the model, but she looks like a teenager.(love the freckles!) Still, I couldnt pass on the entire BB spring collection– the felt tip liner looked intriguing, so I bought IT!
