I thought it was just me!

What I can’t figure out is what’s making me think that way. I don’t know if it’s the tanned California blonde look or what.

I did too, but then I thought that was intentional because of the whole “summer in Miami” theme (which is a theme that makes me think of the 80s/90s)?

I totally agree. I think it feels dated ’cause it looks like the model is wearing a lot of makeup, or rather, it’s wearing her. Fresh faced seems more modern. And it’s not practical to wear a full face of makeup for summer, at least not where I live. That being said, I really am curious to try out the cream eyeshadow!

That Summer look oozes coral, coral, coral. I think the lip color is lovely, complimenting the coral blush on top of that terrific tan that is created by that bronzer powder? Awesome.

Personally I find it quite boring 🙁 Every collection of hers is exactly the same. Although I get it, that’s her style – totally natural make-up, no loud or creative colours here. It is nice, though!

I have to say, I’m a bit sick of all of these bobbi brown collections, because they are all so similar, with a similar overall look and feel and claims….its just frustrating i guess lol 🙂

WoW! I love the colors. So glad I saw this since I was about to buy some of the latest cream shadows but now I know I will wait for those beautiful shimmery nudes!

This collection completely bores me and the model photo bores me even more. The picture looks like it belongs on the cover of the old magazines sitting in a ragged pile at my doctor’s office. The colours are pretty, but uninspiring. And just not my style..Meh!

I love Bobbi Brown, but I agree with some of the comments about the look being dated.  To me, tans are dated looking and especially with the coral.  It’s just not for me.  I do love her Nude Brights collection, though.

I think the star of this collection are the new long wear cream shadows. I went to the BB counter at Macy’s today and bought Brown Sugar. My counter didn’t have Copper but I’m gonna get it online. The brown sugar is so pretty on my dark/deep skin tone.  I’ve bought 4 long wear cream shadows from the Spring 2012 collection, 2 long wear gel pencil liners and I now I”m buying two from this collection.  BB is killing my wallet this spring.
