We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Holy enhanced photos Batman — it looks like the model is holding a completely different palette in the swatches photo. Looks like a pleasing-enough palette, but if someone thought they were buying what’s seen in the big marketing image, they’d be very disappointed. As far as the colors themselves, I really like it, but they could have dropped Infra-red and Fever Dream out and had a palette that could still create all the same looks as the more inclusive one.

Amen to that. Seems like companies are getting more blatant about manipulating photos, and it’s not a good trend. Wonder if they fall back on the “colors look different on different screens” excuse?

Isn’t it crazy that in today’s “Temptalia Asks” someone mentioned extreme photo image manipulation by a brand? And there ya go! Bobbi Brown just did exactly *this*. Not only that, anyone else get the sense that they are trying to make it seem like PMG’s Mothership 4?

Here I was, thinking ‘this is how you do holiday!’, and then I saw the swatches. Man, that’s soooo disappointing and misleading.

Who wants to lay odds that some budget-friendly company will notice this fail and jump on creating a palette like the original marketing image in time for the holidays? Any takers?

This is such a bizarre release and right on the heels of the Camo Collection and Rosy and Bronzed Nude on Nude eyeshadow palettes. I completely discount swatch images like the ones above. They don’t approximate actual swatches. That said, I’m really curious about this palette as I’ve been blown away with the some of the Bobbi Brown releases this year, most notably the Jungle and Iridescence Luxe Multi-Chrome Eyeshadows. Beyond gorgeous.

One another note, this palette has not shown up in any Bobbi Brown Holiday 2018 collages or sneak peeks that I’ve seen. I asked Hannah Martin if she has seen it and she hadn’t, suggesting it’s a release specific to Sephora, which I suspect would not later be sold on Bobbi Brown direct.
