Fun, effortless and vibrant, Bobbi carefully selected each shade and product in the collection to reflect Kate’s playful, beach-ready lifestyle. Pair a well-defined nude eye with a high-voltage lip for a look that channels hot summer days, sexy summer nights and Kate’s easy confidence.

Hmm…the blush and highlighter compacts look a lot like the Sleek Blush by 3 palettes. I love the idea of blush palettes because how often does one really finish a blush!? It takes forever!

The lips Upton is wearing just do not look like any of the colors in this collection, unless the orange Art Stick cures very red. Why do they photoshop into existence a collection that isn’t real? Just make the collection you want!

I’m Indian myself and this palette is GORGEOUS on my skin tone! I think you’ll love it. I’m not one to ever wear blushes but I’ll put this on for a quick wash of color when I don’t have much makeup on and it works so well! Great wear as well ^_^

I actually do like the colors from the Calypso and Berry palettes, just need to see some reviews and swatch in store. The eyeshadow palette just looks really similar to all the other past Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palettes. :/

Wow, Kate Upton looks totally gorgeous here! This is my kind of go-to look, neutral eyes and a bold lip. Definitely interested in reviews and swatches of the lippies and blushes, but will skip the eye palette. I think’s Bobbi’s last 20 eye palettes have been the shades of brown/taupe/shimmer and the pigmentation is usually lacking. I can’t even remember the last time she came out with colored shadows. Such a shame because with the Florida theme, it would’ve been nice to see shadows in blue, teal, green, coral, etc.

I completely agree! I like some of Bobbi’s items, the quality is there, but every single eye palette consists of repeat colors or slight variations. This particular eye palette just looks like a complilation of colors from the past five years. Granted, I do wear neutrals often, but I like a little contrast to play up a neutral eye look. And I agree about the Florida theme too. I live in Florida, and we see plenty of variation, pretty much all year round because it’s always warm. I think she missed the mark if this is supposed to a Florida theme eye palette.

AGREED. Some blues or turquoises would have been a no-brainer for me. I live in Florida, too, haha. Miami is a beach city, at least mix in some ocean themes here. Looking at these colors just makes me feel hot and dried out, lol. I love the punch of color in the lip, but that eye palette just reads as “sand” to me.

I really like this collection. It’s exactly my personal style, neutral eyes and subtle cheeks with pops of colour on the lips! I’m interested most in the Calypso cheek palette, but it disappeared from Sephora’s site.

I’m always puzzled when the promo pics for a collection show a model that’s not even wearing products from that collection.
There’s no red lipstick in the Hot Nude launch, and Kate’s face is contoured but she doesn’t seem to be wearing any of the blush palettes. As for the eyes, it’s hard to say but it’s a pretty bold smokey and the whole face doesn’t exemplify “hot nude” to me.

Anyways, the blush palettes look amazing, but $45 kind of hurts… Especially with Sleek Blush by 3 palettes being 15 bucks. For that amount of money I think I’d rather get Smashbox’s Nordstrom exclusive blush palette.

I bought the blush palette from Sephora in Calypso because I gravitate towards peach, but to me it comes across way more pinky than peach in person. I feel like I should’ve gone with the berry one, it may suit me more!

I have been thinking more and more that I may actually have a more “neutral” tone than yellow. While I prefer gold jewellery on myself, I much more prefer cool-toned makeup on me. Berries, mauves, etc. look better on me than oranges, coppers, golds, blue-based reds over orange-y warm reds even… I’m so confused! Also I think I’m in between light and light-medium at the moment! I’m having a bit of a complexion crisis!

Hi there! There’s a GREAT blog post from a few years back over at a blog called “of faces and fingers” that does a MASSIVE breakdown of undertones for Asian skin–I’m Indian, but the idea still worked. It helped me a LOT in terms of figuring out what makeup works for me, so I hope I can pass it on! I don’t think I can post links in this comment but you should be able to find it through Google.

I really like the idea of the eye palette, with all the neutral shades in a hot pink tray. Totally uninterested in said neutrals though, lol. I already have one Bobbi eye palette and I suspect that is all I will ever need, given I’m not much of a neutrals wearer. The blush palettes are gorgeous and I momentarily coveted Calypso, but I just wouldn’t use it. I don’t like to layer coloured blushes and would rather have a true highlighter than a paler blush.

I want to see just how sheer the sheer lipsticks are before deciding about those, but I’ve tried the Art Stick formula before and it’s nice, so the Hot Orange may be coming home with me!

Jill Avatar

Im not wowed . Although BB cosmetics used to be my first love, I have moved on. (sigh) I have enough neutral shadows collected and I really do not care for that lip formula or crayon.

Mary Avatar

I have one of the BB Art Sticks in another color and really like it, So I’m very interested in trying these bright colors in the formula! Hope to see a review of these soon!

I got the Hot nudes palette and although I love the lighter shades I dislike the two darkest browns Smoke and Blackest brown. Especially with Smoke the pigmentation is so poor and there is fall out. As for the blackest brown I can get work when I use it as eye liner and apply MAC fix plus to my brush first. It then seems to hold the consistency which is otherwise very powdery. Would not purchase again but will be enjoying my palette especially the other colours.:)
As for the lip and cheek products I got the Calypso palette and I love it among with Hot orange sheer lip colour. I didnt get the Art sticks simply because I got my matte MAC lipsticks like Lady Danger and I think the colour Hot orange is similar to that.
