Bobbi Brown Holiday 2011 Collection
Bobbi Brown Holiday 2011 Collection
1991 Lip Palette ($60.00) (Limited Edition)
In 1991, discouraged by the lack of flattering lip colors that were available, Bobbi took to making her own. She created ten lipstick shades that had a brown base, which was in her opinion the most natural complement to a woman’s skin tone. After a small editorial mention in a magazine, Bobbi was soon taking countless phone orders from her home and it wasn’t long before she caught the attention of Bergdorf Goodman, which ultimately launched her eponymous collection. Bobbi hoped that she would sell 100 lipsticks in her first month at the store—and she ended up selling them in just one day. Created in celebration of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics’ 20th anniversary, the Limited Edition 1991 Palette features the original ten lipsticks as well as ten NEW bright, modern and wearable colors that showcase how the brand has evolved in the past 20 years. All the shades can be worn alone or mixed together to create your own unique shade.

I would be more of an Bobbi Brown addict if it wasn’t almost impossible to get here in Canada.
Where in Canada do you live? Bobbi Brown is readily available in Holt Renfrew stores (Toronto). HTH.
Bobbi Brown is also sold at Murale stores (owned by Shoppers Drug Mart) in Canada. I know for sure the Toronto location carries BB!
I’ve seen some Bobbi Brown items at London Drugs (near Pacific Centre on Granville St) and I’m sure Holt Renfrew carries Bobbi Brown.
I agree with Ani_Bee. Why can’t we get Bobbi Brown here. I’m just dying to try some of these palettes. The colors are dazzling!
Yeah! Murale is on Robson St in Vancouver (“downtown”) and Holt Renfrew is a few blocks away. Hopefully you have one of these close to you! =]
I’m pondering the 1991 lip palette, but $60 seems steep, especially if the circles of color are as small as they were for her brights eye shadow palette.
Wow, those mini brushes and that carryall are REALLY enticing…
Jenica,
Check them out in person before you buy. I bought the holiday blush set online a couple of years back – it was expensive – and the quality was not the same as BB regular brushes. Some of the brushes actually fell apart.
So, definitely look at the set closely… it does look nice & convenient in the photo.
oops, i meant to respond to jenn!
i think Bobbi Brown’s going to empty my wallet this holiday season. I really would like to have that 1991 lip palette 🙂
nekem kell
This is one of the most gorgeous collections I’ve seen!
wonder how much is the train case? 🙂
It is $115.00
I have her mini brushes. She brings a whole new definition to the word “mini”. They are really TINY!
I like the look of the Party Eye Palette. It contains a lot of shades I want to try out.
I’m really looking forward to swatches of that pink gloss!
i need that makeup bag! loving it.
Beautiful! Especially that brown eyeshadow-palette!
Dear Santa, I’ve been a good girl, please leave the makeup bag and the brush set under the tree for me!LOL!
I love that bag and some of the smaller palettes. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for these!
I’m with you on that bag!
will you be swatching any of these christine?
LOVE IT ALL!!!
loving that carryall bag!!! And really curious to see the quality of the shadow pallettes…I’ve been searching for a good smokey eye all-in-one pallette….
beautiful colors!!! neutral yet they have enough color! love!
Im actually sooo fed with seeing editorials which smash the products up!! its been over done and it makes me cringe when its an expensive product like this. anyway… these all look great!
Wow, I really want the second set of the “To-Go” palette. I’m surprised it’s only $25! Usually BB palette’s are overpriced. That dark plum lipgloss is sooo beautiful though!
OMG. I need to get something from this collection!
I have to have that makeup bag… That is sooo my style… I <3 it!! And that lip palette will really become a great staple in my kit!
how much is the carry all bag? and brushes kit? thank you
I don’t have prices unfortunately! 🙁
$115 for the carry all and $60 for the brush kit. Just ordered the lip palette from neimanmarcus.com
Im so excited about the lip Palette,Cant wait to try it.the brushset looks really cool too 🙂
Hot, hot, hot. I’m getting a bunch of this. And I’m SO EXCITED she brought back the sparkle eye shadows! They are the best (but remember to apply with your fingers for best coverage, ladies)!
Oh my gosh! These pictures look so pretty!! Must get my hands on at least one palette 🙂
That Party to Go Palette needs to be MINE. And that makeup case is kind of calling my name…
the carryall is 115…these are up on the site!
Wow, what a lovely collection. I agree, the brush set looks amazing, but more for the case than the brushes. I don’t really like dual ended brushes, but the case looks terrific. Chanel made a train case similar to the one shown here. I use it a lot, but the inserts can make it awkward to use. If these inserts can be removed it would be better, the Chanel inserts tend to flop over 🙂
wooooooooooow that lip palette + that train case!!!!!!!!
wow all the collection is amazing. i really want all that but in mexico bobbi brown don’t send all this ithems. what can i do to get them? can a buy whis you with a mexican card?
I think I am in love with that cosmetic bag!
Looks like a nice new assortment of products!
My local Macy’s was unpacking these goodies this morning! I got the 1991 lipstick collection and will probably be back for some shadows.
I want the bag. It’s so chic and functional! 😀
I love the mini brush set! Plus, you can use the little case they come in for an iPhone holder!
hi will this collection be available in the US only?
It should be international.
Christine, is the Sparkle shadow palette of the type “Black Velvet” and “Black” sparkle shadows last year were from? Photos so far look “powdier”! thanks!
I haven’t tried it!
Hey Christine, love your blog. thanks so much for all the efforts! A quick question. I have this bb lip palette and i absolutely love it. apparently the 2011 collection is just for the sake of this palette and not available in full sizes.Unfortunately I am in love with the four shades Party pink, Coral Gables, Lady ruba and most of all Atomic Pink. If at all you have used the pallete, could you possibly tell about any dupes for these shades. I’ll be grateful! xx
