Bobbi Brown Bone Sparkle Eyeshadow Review, Photos, Swatches
Bobbi Brown Bone Sparkle Eyeshadow
Bobbi Brown Bone Sparkle Eyeshadow ($28.00 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “cream sparkle.” It’s a pale, golden ivory with lots of sparkle and shine.  What’s really crazy is that it looks very yellow in the pan, but it’s not really yellow (just lightly warm and cream-colored) swatched and applied. Cinderella Ball Gown is similar, whiter. Guerlain by Emilio Pucci Terra Azzurra is also a bit whiter. Givenchy Lune Mysterieuse is similar. theBalm Tempting Tara is more metallic.
The Sparkle Eyeshadow formula is the brand’s take on glitter with “shimmering pearls and fine glitter” that is crease-free and long-lasting. Â Bone is nicely pigmented with a good base color along with plenty of sparkle. Â The sparkle felt well-embedded within the eyeshadow, so fall out during application and throughout wear was minimized. Â There was some noticeable fall out that occurred throughout the eight hours I wore this, and I did have faint creasing after eight hours of wear (without a primer).

Like I said last Holiday season, Sonia Kashuk has *very* similar shades for 1/3 the price, which is especially great if you’re only planning to wear it on occasion.
I like this one, may purchase. I’ve been looking for a replacement for the discontinued Laura Mercier “Twinkle”. Thanks!
Wow, that really IS surprisingly white. You really hit the nail on the head with that title!
so cute what a nice shade 🙂
I normally don’t like glittery eye shadows. However, I thought that these were well done. I thought the glitter was fun but still not too young. I didn’t pick any of these up for myself, but I did give one as a gift.
Definitely pretty but not for me :/
Other than the color, texture and the product itself, for the price…it has no applicator or mirror. At least Nars has a mirror. Maybe, one can justify it because it gives a tiny bit more…but it is the whole package. Yes, the applicators that comes with it, alot of time are terrible, but it really needs to justify to buy it.
Would you say this is similar to the sparkly shades in Dior’s Couture Gold/Golden Savannah palettes, Christine?
A little lighter, more white than gold – similar, though. Dior’s performed better for me, though!
Looks a bit like Stila Starlight, only not as nice.
I think for glitter shadows, these are really well done. I did not buy this colour, but picked up Black Chocolate and Cement and found them surprisingly creamy to apply. I did experience some fallout, but minimal and only after 6 to 8 hours. I think these add a really lovely glitzy touch. Definitely a quality product IMO.
