Last year when they went live (around midnight I believe), the website crashed and you couldn’t checkout no matter how much you tried. Needless to say, I got no items and lots of people were complaining about their severs on Sephora’s facebook page. In retrospect, I wish I would have just gone to a store than wasted my time online. I hope they had more servers this year.

I just saw the preview ad for Ulta and I’m excited about the Fa la la la Flawless set. I’m also curious about the Tarte Balanced and Beautiful set. The description just says “full size products” but it doesn’t really say what it includes. Any one have any idea what’s in this set?

I’m pretty sure you can’t do that (either by spending more or by making separate orders), because they have other sales, ones where you can get up to a $300 gift card by spending $1000.00. They seem to be differentiating this from those offers.

Pretty good quality brushes (I own the FB 05 brush great for my powder foundations with very minimal shedding when I first got it), the sample eyeshadows I have are really pigmented and easy to apply (easier meaning not powdery like some of my NYX ones but not quiet as buttery as say Urban Decay) but the real hidden gem for me was their gel liners. I have a blue one I used for graduation and that thing lasted all day through crying and intense Texas heat. Anyway just wanted to add in case any of you were interested! There’s a footnote on the Inglot sale: “does not apply to single eye shadows.” Don’t know if this means all palettes don’t count, or what, but I figure people should know.

Inglot is referring to the single shadows that are already full packaged, not the freedom system shadows. The round single shadows have been discounted 40% for months. Therefore, I suspect Inglot felt justified in not offering a further discount on this product.

I put in a hefty freedom system order and all components (palettes and shadows) were given the 20% discount.

A note on the Nordstrom polish sale. It only works once for each brand. You can buy 2 of one brand and get 1 free but not 4 and get 2 free, unless it’s from a different brand. I was hoping to get more Butter London colors with the sale, didn’t realize before that it was limited.

Armani’s code is BLKFRIDAY12. Customer service told me when I called them. Apparently it’s on their website, but I was too busy selecting products to see it!

Thanks so much for the info! Around 10pm (CST) I was on sephora.com adding what I wanted to my basket and the $10 deals showed up online (but with “out of stock” on them) so I put them in my shopping list. when 11pm hit the site went to a page that told me to wait patiently I would be “let back in” soon and when I did I was all prepared to add the items from my shopping list to my basket and check out. I don’t know if I was lucky or the site was better prepared than last year (I didn’t do black friday last year) but I’m really excited.

I got two of the little wonders mini (I just bought the full-size little wonders for my birthday last week and already my skin is SO much better!), the lorac deal (I’ve been wanting a different eye primer and a full-size one for $10? too good to pass up!), and the tokyo milk fragrances.
