Best & Worst of ColourPop x iluvsarahii Through My Eyes Collection
ColourPop x iluvsarahii Through My Eyes Collection launched at the end of 2018 with a 16-pan eyeshadow palette and three lip colors, which I’ve rounded up below. I’m a big fan of ColourPop’s eyeshadow formula, so I’m happy that they’ve released another winning palette, but I can see why some fans are feeling the palette fatigue as Through My Eyes has overlap with Rendezvous and Salvaje (also released in the last two months). They share some similarities with some shades being very close but often the way they came together, because of how the pops of color ended up being less similar (green vs. teal, cooler vs. warmer), while the warmer neutrals and coppers tended to run together more.

I do share ColourPop’s fans’ concerns re the volume of palettes they are releasing in a short time. It is overwhelming and many of them are very similar. And this palette was a big one too.
I am pleased to see it rate well and it is a fabulous effort you put in to get it reviewed so quickly.
Looks so pretty but I’m sure I gave all these colors already or very close to them but beautiful it is!
I got at least 6 Colourpop palettes in the last 2 weeks, including both Rendezvous and Through My Eyes and I regret nothing! 😀
They do release stuff with a pretty quick turnaround but since it’s 95%+ excellent quality and affordable, I have very little to complain about… I find their pressed powder eyeshadows consistently better quality than MAC, Anastasia, Chanel, Dior plus many other brands and that alone would be enough to make me a loyal customer. But I can purchase their product for less than any drugstore brand here in New Zealand (eg, NYX, Maybelline) and at about 10% of what you can expect to pay for say, MAC so eh, it’s a no brainer for me.
Pretty much just have to learn self-control… because you’re exactly right – if they release fairly quality products, even if it’s often, what are we complaining about? We don’t have to buy it all, as my husband says so simply, LOL!
Right Christina! Mine says even in sale or clearance it is still not free. But he doesn’t notice or bother me about my purchasing. Is a good thing! Lol! It was my daughter who got me addicted to wonderful Colorpop & fb.
I bow down to you! Lol! And agree the quality is there I have no complaints either. I have three palettes Yes Please, Femme got for Christmas for myself and got Give it to me straight for my daughter, $aucey and about 10 supers shocks love them! Haven’t tried yet a blush, highliter, lipstick which I have tons. Only for the eyes but want to! Need to study the shades closely. ?
