Best Products of the Week | Vol. 352

Hope your weekend is starting off on the right note! Every Saturday, I like to share the top 10 products from the last week of reviews. It’s a nice way to highlight what reviews have been published recently. Similarly, I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.

What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments 🙂

  • Your skin tone/coloring:
  • What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?:
  • What was the hero product of the week for you?:
  • Any products you want to use next week?:

Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?
My favorite look of the week was the same as the one I posted last week, but I also liked this one using my newest palette:
• EYES: NYX Proof It Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer; ColourPop Stone Cold Fox palette (Stranger as transition, Gneiss Guy on lid blended up and out, Gravity Hill in crease, Lux on brow bone); UD 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Double Life on outer third of lower lash line; CoverGirl Clump Crusher Waterproof Mascara; and a combination of Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil and Precisely My Brow, both in Grey.
• FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, MAC Blot Powder, Clinique Rosy Pop Blush.
• LIPS: MAC Creme Cup. I stepped out of my comfort zone when I bought this shade, but I really like it after I blot it to decrease the shine.

What was the hero product of the week for you? Not a product, but a combination of two products: MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow and UD 24/7 pencil in Mushroom.

Any products you want to use next week? Play some more with the Stone Cold Fox palette. The shades look so different in the pan than on my eyes, this palette will take some experimentation to nail down a few good looks.
