Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name! (Blue-green eyes)
Favorite look from the week: On Wednesday I did a fairly simple look (only 5 eyeshadows, lol) using PMG Nocturnal Nirvana. It looked like I had the Aurora Borealis on my lids!
Eyes: MAC Orb on browbone, PMG Paranormal (La Vie En Rose) transition, PMG Blitz Purple crease, inner & outer corners of lid and outer and inner lower lashline, VR Emerald on mid lid and mid lower lashline as a halo effect, PMG Astral Luna Gold inner corners, my usual black liner, tightline and mascara.
Cheeks: UD Jawbone, Hourglass Brilliant Nude as highlight, Infinite Flush as blush. Both from Ghost quad.
Lips: Nyx Coffee SLP, PMG Christy MatteTrance Lipstick, a thin coat of Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal.
Your most used product this week: Hourglass Ghost Cheek quad, PMG Nocturnal Nirvana eyeshadow quad, Maybelline Full & Soft waterproof mascara, MAC Blacktrack Fluidline gel liner, Smashbox Fishnet Always On Eye Pencil, Fenty Hydrating Foundation in 260, PMG Christy MatteTrance Lipstick (love it as a rare lighter pink that actually flatters me!).
Any beauty discoveries (new or old)? That there’s a light pink lipstick for everyone! Subjective to what constitutes ‘light’ on an individual basis. What’s light on me, PMG Christy, may be med-dark or super pale on another! But, perfect for this purpose on me.
Coloring: Under my name. Green eyes, s&p hair.
Favorite Look: I’ve had a very low-maintenance makeup week—nothing new or complicated, very few brushes to wash. EYES—Colourpop Precision Brow Colour Gel in Cool Cocoa, Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Burnished Bronze (in crease and outer lower lash line), Lancôme Definicils Mascara.
FACE—Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder, Colourpop Blush Stix in Flamenco (applied as a light wash of color using elf’s small stipple brush).
LIPS—Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lipstick in Boudoir
Most Used Products: Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks, Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder.
Beauty Discovery: Nothing this week.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look from the week: AG Tinted sunscreen, Too Faced Peach Blur powder, Becca Foxglove Blush, Pixi shadow stick in Bronze Blaze as a shadow from lid to crease with a bit of Sephora Cashmere Coat to deepen my crease; Sephora Cappucino pencil liner, MAC Craving lipstick
Your most used product this week: I’m so boring but it’s MAC Craving – I will never get over my love affair with that lipstick
Any beauty discoveries…yeah – that I actually like the Eve Lom cleanser even though the price is totally ridiculous.
?♂️ Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral with cool olive – green/gray hazel eyes
?♂️ Favorite look from the week: I’ve focused myself on going deeper and exploring my existing PatMcG collection by working looks from multiple palettes. Fav look this week is a soft smoked midtone eye I did with the Mothership Bronze seduction and Mthrship La Vie en Rose. The focus, the matte rose shade, La Vie en Rose- paranormal immediately around the eye..Really makes my eyeballs pop. I anchored it with the reddish brown tone (entrapment) in crease, Euphoria mid lid, inner corner Fire Opal VR (such a killer shade). I don’t know why PMG warmer colours work so well on me. I think the Bronze seduction palette must have a redder base instead of yellow or orange. It’s by large the best ‘warm’ palette I own.
?♂️ Your most used product this week: I’ve been seriously feeling my Clinique Pop Cool Down palette. I combine the two blush shades and they look fab together.
?♂️ Any beauty discoveries… I’ve tweaked a lot in my routine lately to the point where I have my fav basics down pat. Weird things such as: I like ABH primer for my lids, but prefer NARS soft matte concealer for priming the lower lashline. I find my shadows blend better without harshness as I usually really smoke out my lower lashline
That eye looks sounds stunning.
Your look sounds utterly gorgeous!
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Favorite look from the week: EYES — TFSI. ABH Modern Renaissance Palette: Golden Ochre (crease to brow bone; lower lid), Burnt Orange (crease; lower lid), and Cypress Umber (outer 1/3 of deep crease; outer third of lower lashline). Apocalyptic Beauty Eyeshadow in Creepy Dust (lid). E.l.f. Blush in Gotta Glow (inner corner). NYX Collection Noir Matte Liquid Liner (upper lid & wing). UD Perversion Mascara. LIPS — NARS Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer in Everglades. CHEEKS — Milani Rose Powder Blush in Romantic Rose. FACE — NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer; Tarte Maracuja Miracle Foundcealer in Fair; RCMA No Color Powder; Sephora Collection Tranquil (contour); e.l.f. Blush in Gotta Glow (HL); DIY setting spray.
Your most used product this week: Tarte Maracuja Miracle Foundcealer + usual dailies
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): I picked up the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer, and I really like it. I wanted to try the Conceal & Define Foundation, but the lightest shades in the store display were still way too dark for me, but I was impressed with the quality. I’ll have to order a really fair shade from their website. Both the concealer and foundation have a great shade selection.
I think that Conceal and Define concealer is just about my fave right now, and I need an annex for my concealers. Got 3 when they launched at an Ulta threefer. Then got the conceal and hydrate. Fewer shades and way drier than the conceal and define. Whaaaat? I wish i understood the chemical composition and its implications. Life would be easier.
That’s really weird that the Conceal and Hydrate was drier than Conceal and Define. Next time I’m in Ulta, I’ll have to swatch some and look at the ingredients. I have a Facebook friend who’s a cosmetic chemist and might be able to explain it.
I think the concealer is going to be my new go-to. I’m really impressed with it. I put in an order to their website last night for the Conceal and Define foundation in F 0.2, which I’m hoping isn’t too yellow. IDK why, but for the very fair shades, instead of having a neutral undertone option, they had “light yellow undertone.” Often I can use foundation with a slightly warm undertone, so fingers crossed.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite look from the week: Using the UD Vice 2 – Strike (soft gold shade) on the whole lid, with Madness (blue) on the lower lid and a touch of Damaged swirled into the blue of Madness.
Foolish lipstick by ColourPop
Your most used product this week: Vice 2.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): Lots of great neutral shades in this palette, with a few beautiful pops of colour – Madness, Damaged and Voodoo.
That eye combination sounds really lovely! Those colors would really suit you.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair
Favorite look from the week: I did a rosy neutral eye, using the Colourpop x KathleenLights So Jaded palette: I used You’re a Gem as a transition, Jasper on my outer corner, and Smoky Quartz (my favorite shade in the palette) all over my lid. Paired it with my favorite lip of all time: Tom Ford Lip Color in Casablanca.
Your most used product this week: Colourpop So Jaded palette, Ulta Beauty Cream Blush in Sunrise along with all of my regulars.
Any beauty discoveries… the L’Oreal Infallible Rouge Signature Liquid Lipsticks are great!
