Your skin tone/coloring: fair (and fading fast), cool
Look you loved this week?: I like the look I wore yesterday but for the life of me, I can’t recall what I used on my eyes. I think it was Smashbox Minimalist palette on my eyes, and the shades Nude, Cinnamon and Hang with Sephora Cappuccino to line; a bit of IT CC Cream (which I’ve not used in ages), Becca Foxglove blush, Too Faced Peach Blur setting powder, MAC Craving on my lips.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I guess you could say the IT CC Cream but really, a true old favourite that I’ve fallen in love with again is the MAC Illusionary/Burning Ambition e/s duo (the brown side, not the icy gold side)
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Farsali Liquid Glass serum. I love the stuff but keep forgetting to use it!
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Look you loved this week?: EYES — TF Shadow Insurance. PML Divine Rose Palette: Velouria (crease and swept around to lower lid), Xtreme Mahogany (deepening outer true crease; lower lash line), Skinshow Nude (brow bone), Iridescent Pink 003 (foiled on lid and topped with Astral Solstice), and Rose Dusk (outer 1/3 of lid). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (upper waterline), and Roach (lower waterline). UD Perversion Mascara. BROWS — The powder from e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit in Medium. LIPS — Kylie Cosmetics Crème Lipstick in Infatuation. CHEEKS — Sydney Grace Pressed Blush in Paris Skies. FACE — ColourPop All Star Matte Primer; BH Cosmetics Naturally Flawless Foundation in Ivory; RCMA No Color Powder; Sephora Tranquil (contour); BeautyBarBaby Pressed Highlighter in Rainbows & Unicorns; and DIY setting spray.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Sydney Grace Paris Skies Blush. Phenomenal! I’m foresee it being a regular go-to. The best mauve blush EVER. I’m also really loving ColourPop All Star Matte Primer.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Colour Pop Butter Me Up Palette and my new PML LuxeTrance Lipsticks. Honestly, though, any of my newer stuff from the last couple months’ sales. I haven’t been wearing makeup much while I’ve been ill, so I’ve had to admire my goodies from afar.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones.
Look you loved this week?: When it’s summer here, I really start using my soft/mint green shades and teals and blues. My favourite look was using the Lorac Pro Metals, with Gilded (gold) on the whole lid, Clover – the soft green over most of the lid, with Cobalt on the lower lid, paired with CP’s Gallop lipstick.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Dior’s Bonne Etoile – an eternally beautiful quint.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I haven’t quite worked out what I will be wearing on Christmas Day, it seriously depends on the weather. Hopefully it won’t be too hot, so I can wear a bronzey top I have newly purchased – using my Pixi Beauty Reflex Light palette as my eyeshadow palette.
Genevieve, how are you faring with the fires? I just saw on the news that your Prime Minister apologized for going away on vacation rather than staying in Australia at such a difficult time. I heard that Canada is sending large numbers of fire fighters to help in the effort – they’ve had lots of experience fighting forest fires here over the last few years. I sure hope it’s all under control soon and that you and yours are safe. Praying for the people of Australia!
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name, green eyes
Look you loved this week?: Lancome cushion blush (discontinued) under BP Serum Foundation; The Balm Instain Blush in Toile/PF Blush in Plum Rose as powder blush; Born to Run Palette (Stranded on lid, Stillshot buffed into crease); YSL the shock mascara.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Clinique Cheek Pop On the Glow Palette; so pretty!! Lavinalla Sport deodorant; it’s a natural deodorant that actually works.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I am hoping to complete the TIGI/Bed Head Calma Sutra Leave-in Conditioner (would repurchase), OGX Curl Cream (would not repurchase) and Lancome Dual Powder foundation (meh; it’s ok, but the L’Oreal mineral or pressed powder foundation is just as good and a fraction of the price).
Your skin tone/coloring: Foundation shades are warm beige neutral
Look you loved this week?: Have the Bare Minerals advent calendar and especially enjoyed wearing Naked Beach eyeshadow with Pink Me Up blush and MAC Glass Heel lipgloss (which I panned completely yesterday),
Any new or old favorites discovered?: in the advent calendar yesterday I got a mini Swank lip lacquer. Fell hard in love with this colour and have ordered the full size. Bare Minerals UK site has a 33% off sale. I managed to buy a lipgloss duo for £12. And get a GWP as well with free shipping.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Did give Santa a list so hoping I’ll have those items to use. Was with him when he bought me both Kat Von D Saint and Sinner fragrances (19ml) and an Urban Decay lipgloss in Fuel.
