I received one of their regular line glosses for being a customer at the Brow Bar one time and found it to be so heavily scented that I couldn’t stand to wear it. Given that their powders are scented too (the major minus in my book) I don’t know that I could wear these either, even if the formula is perfect :/

If anyone is interested in buying these now, I purchased the Coralista duo from HSN for $29 (a dollar more than the retail price of a single blush). They’re having an event right now. Free shipping. 🙂

I’m excited for this release! I hope they’re fairly pigmented (as much as can be for a gloss). Got my eye on Bella Bamba.

If these came as duos, I might have been willing to move out of my ordinary brands, but it just doesn’t seem worth it. I always pass by the benefit display at Sephora, take a quick glance, then move on. I’m sure the products are great, and they have a loyal following, but from a marketing perspective (if they want to gain new customers), I think they need to come up with something more compelling than bright packaging.

I’ll probably try this out in the store (hello, Coralista!), but I’m not sure I’ll buy until I see them in person. Like others have said, I’m not a huge fan of heavily scented products, and lip glosses are no exception.

If you don’t like the scent of Benefit’s products, these aren’t for you. Personally, I love the scent! I got the mini of Dandelion from Sephora, and I love it! It has a slight shimmer, lovely scent, and it looks gorgeous. It feels nice and weightless, and it’s not sticky at all. I ordered the travel set of 4 and the Dallas gloss and boxed powder duo. Can’t wait for them!

of course, the one Benefit boxed powder I have (Hervana) doesn’t have a lip gloss. Boo. Maybe in wave 2? I’m not tempted to buy any of the duos at the moment, but I did get a sample of Dandelion from Sephora. So we’ll see if I like it 🙂

I’m so excited 😀  I would have rathered a dipstick type gloss..I’ve already got a massive tube collection (thank you bath & body works/victoria’s secret).  Either way I’m probably going to get at least coralista and sugarbomb!  Maybe dandelion too 🙂

HSN has these for $29.50 and there’s a coupon code — 10off25beauty for $10 off a $25 beauty order. And free shipping! I snagged the Bella Bamba and Hoola sets.

I owned a Benefit gloss once but it was hard for me to use it because of the strong, lingering scent…I think I’ll pass. Plus I prefer doefoot applicators anyway. 😛

The packaging and promo images are so cute they almost sucker me into buying one. I’ve been burned by Benefit before…I’ve owned a fair amount of their products and haven’t liked a single one. Boo 🙁

Hoola looks so good in the tube but too bad it doesn’t have too much color. at least it’s really glossy and makes my lips look totally kissable lol. dallas would be second favorite and most pigmented. everything else i can pass.
