Becca Capri Coast, Ipanema Sun, Maui Nights Sunlit Bronzers Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Capri Coast
Becca Capri Coast Sunlit Bronzer ($38.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a medium brown with warm undertones and a golden sheen. It had semi-opaque and buildable to full coverage with two layers of product, if desired. The powder was smooth, soft without being dusty, and easy to work with on the cheeks and face as the powder blended out nicely. There was noticeable shimmer in the powder, but it produced a luminous sheen when blended out on the skin that did not emphasize my skin’s natural texture. This shade wore well for eight hours on me.
The formula is supposed to have a “silky texture” with a “natural warmth.” It’s a powder bronzer that’s available in five shades–from a light-medium brown to a deeper copper-red. Overall, the texture of the formula was soft, smooth, and blendable with a couple of shades being dusty and others being well-balanced between soft and firm. The coverage was mostly opaque to opaque, so a little went a long way but the softer powder made it easy to diffuse and blend out for sheerer coverage, if desired. The formula wore from seven and a half to eight hours on me.

Ipanema Sun
Becca Ipanema Sun Sunlit Bronzer ($38.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a medium-dark brown with warm, reddish undertones and a natural sheen. It was richly pigmented, but the soft, blendable texture made it easy to apply less (using a lighter hand or more feather brush) to the skin and build the color up. The powder diffused well on the skin and never looked uneven or streaky. The finish was natural–like skin but not truly shimmery–and made it stand out in a sea of bronzers to me. The bronzer stayed on well for eight hours before fading.

Maui Nights
Becca Maui Nights Sunlit Bronzer ($38.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a medium-dark, coppery red with warm undertones and a soft sheen. It had very nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which was definitely buildable to full coverage by just tapping on a smidgen more product. The bronzer had a soft, finely-milled consistency that applied evenly to skin and required very little blending. For as deep and as pigmented as the product was, it was impressive just how easy it was to work with it. The finish was very flattering on the skin, as it didn’t look flat but wasn’t so shimmery that it emphasized my skin’s natural texture either. It could also be worn with a highlighter, too, for a more shimmery effect–and that made it more versatile. It started to fade on me after eight hours of wear.

All great. Invoke 2 dupe rule for Maui. Rein it in. I’ve certainly made up for my 3 months no buy… the Bardot fans will love this one. Think Bardot is still around. Just mentioned it last night to a customer who never heard of CP. They have a lot of brand ambassadors! But Becca certainly has something for everyone.
I heard someone talking about ColourPop in “real life” a month or so ago, and it gave me the sense of just how popular ColourPop has gotten over time!
I bet Maui Nights would also work as a really pretty blush on medium skin tones- I like it!
I agree!
I love the Maui Nights one, if put on lightly it could have that slight sunburnt-vacation look 🙂
It would be beautiful for exactly that purpose!
Maui Nights looks splendid! Not too sure I’d define it as a “bronzer” , it instead has a more vivid redness to it that reminds me of MAC Taraji Glow, mine of which I use as a sunkissed looking blush. And, of course, because I have TG, I doubt that I need Maui Nights?
If you have Taraji Glow for that kind of effect, you could skip Maui Nights!
I’m really liking Ipanema and Maui Nights, they’re both so pretty!
Awesome! 😀
Nothing here for the pale girls.
If you are looking for lighter options, I already reviewed those previously!
Maui nights is ?. So so pretty!!!!!
It is!
Oddly enough I like Maui Nights the best! It would certainly be more of a blush though.
Maui and Capri both look gorgeous. I’ll have to swatch them first but Maui is calling me.
I am thinking I might have to get Maui Nights! I am super pale but using a strongly pigmented powder product doesn’t bother me as I swirl it off on my wrist and that usually works great, especially if the product is easily blended to begin with. I just love the color. Thank you, Christine.
I’m very pale and Capri Coast would be my pick from this range, beautiful color. Maui Nights, though, wow! I can dream about ways to make this color work on me haha.
Hi Christine, would Ipanema Sun work for light skin? I’m looking for a dupe for Guerlain Terra India Terracotta and this is listed on your dupe list 🙂
Yes, I think it would!
Thank you! Then I’ll give it a try 🙂
