At BCBG Max Azria, it was all about angular shapes, soft layers and an incredibly natural face. Lisa Butler of NARS Cosmetics says, “We didn’t want to do anything to take away from the look, so we went for a less girly look.” The team used oil-free foundation, Habanera (shimmery purple) on lids and buffed past eye sockets. Kyoto (shimmery green) lined the lower, inner lash line for depth. Cheeks were done with Casino bronzing powder. Bumble & Bumble parted hair in the middle and applied hair extensions as necessary. Laurent Philippon says, “She’s partying. She’s sexy and she takes care of herself.” He used B&b Prep and Styling Lotion to create the look. (WWD)
At Yigal Azourel, Erin Anderson of TRESemme created a hairstyle based off of the classic ponytail, only she looped the ponytails downward and back to create a pseudo bun. Jeanine Lobell of Stila used a charcoal eyeshadow to create the incredibly dark, dramatic cat eye seen at the show. The face was kept soft and clean, with just a touch of color. (WWD)
At Erin Fetherson, the look as sculpted and natural. The skin being flawless, as per usual on the runway these days, but the cheeks were deeply contoured to create cheekbones that look like they were chiseled out of stone.
At Rag & Bone, skin was natural, almost glowy, but still very clean. Eyes were defined with a thin ilne of upper lash liner, while lips were pale and neutral.
At Nicole Miller, they used a mauvey brown on both the lid and underneath the lid, while accenting the inner tearduct with a silvery-pearl color. Lips were a neutral beige-orange, very soft and suitable. Cheeks had a slight bronze flush to them, but otherwise the face was natural.
love the look at Rag & Bone!
Me too!
