Anastasia Sweet Talker Liquid Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.11 fl. oz.) is described as a “watermelon pink.” It’s a bright, neon pink with warm undertones and an ultra-matte finish. Kat Von D Berlin (P, $19.00) is darker, warmer. MAC No Faux Pas (LE, $16.00) is darker, cooler-toned. MAC Good Kisser (LE, $16.00) is darker, cooler-toned. Marc Jacobs Beauty Wham (604) (P, $28.00) is warmer, less matte. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

This shade is intensely pigmented with really smooth, even color coverage. It didn’t settle into lip lines, and it doesn’t look really dry on lips, but it does have a very flat, ultra-matte finish, so if you prefer a little sheen, this formula might not be for you. Over time, I felt the formula was noticeably drying by the fourth hour of wear, and it was very drying after six hours of wear, though it lasted well for almost eight hours. It did fade from the center more than the edges, but it only faded subtly, so it wasn’t too apparent.

Why are so many liquid lipsticks so bright? Is it formula related? I sort of like the look..I’m adjusting…but some of the colors make them seem like such a statement which is holding me back. Not that they aren’t lovely but they are so bold. Why?

Oh, this is wayyyyy vibrant! I’m not a neon lipstick person, but I admit that it is beautiful shade (within the concept of vibrant tones) and surprisingly great, compared to other colors of the range!
I do hope that you are having a nice Saturday!

I wound up sending this one back along with the other 11 I sent yesterday. Most of them, after 2 hours or less with minimal mouth movement, I felt like they just emphasized every single line in my lips and I don’t feel like my lips have more lines than normal. Maybe these are for younger ladies,Idk. I am only 39,not 70!I kept Bloodline, American doll,Potion, Vamp,Heathers, and Sad Girl. All the dark ,deep ones and Sad Girl because I had wishful thinking for it..so pretty. I am not a only dark lip wearer. I wear whatever fits the occasion/season/mood. The light and bright ones just emphasized and dried more to me. I have tried NYX, Limecrime( I know, not a good company..not buying again) and Kat Von D and Sephora brand and Aqua Rouge by MUFE. My favorite by far is th kat von D. The consistency is thinner and over time it remains feeling a little moist and tacky but it does’t stick together. I only have 3 colors, LUV, underage red, and Bachlorette. Berlin and Lolita are on the way to me. I plan to get more but some are crazy bright! I hope she does expand that line of colors. Otherwise, I will stick with good old fashion tube lipstick and reapply away and go back to the aid of lip liner! It looks great on you. Just didn’t work out for me unfortunately!

I agree and I really don’t have the need to have lipstick wear for 6+ hours if it requires overly dry lips. I am still disappointed that this formula seemed to have been over hyped. Oh well, plenty of pretty lippies to be worn!

Another gorgeous, vivid pink. Would you say this is more drying than the Party Pink? I get along with that fine, but it’s been sounding like some shades are more drying than others. Fortunately, I don’t get dry lips easily.

HOLY PREACHING PALADINS THAT’S BRIGHT.

O___O –> o____o (had to squint).

I’m kind of loving it for that, though. Absolutely certain I couldn’t pull that off (as a vampire) without serious attention to both the rest of my makeup and my outfit, and even then it would still totally own me, LOL! The camera is having such a hard time with it!

Love. It. Looks very similar to Jeffree Star’s ‘Prom Night’ which I own. Very hard to rock but GORGEOUS shades!! I have ordered a few of the ABH lipsticks and I’m very keen to see how they turn out. x

Hi Christina, I LOVE your website, but is there any way to turn of the sound for the ads on this page with the really loud music? It’s really annoying if I have to either mute my audio everytime I visit temptalia.com, or click the page away because I don’t know how to make it stop :/

Thanks!
