Anastasia Riviera Eyeshadow Palette Makeup Look Ideas

Here are 12 core color combinations using the new Anastasia Riviera Eyeshadow Palette ($45.00 for 0.28 oz.), which includes six shimmers, seven mattes, and one satin.
I do want to reiterate that three shades are Pressed Pigments, which are “not intended for use around the immediate eye area,” and they are: Bahamas, Cannes, and Palm per the fine print on the box. The Pressed Pigments “may contain” Red 7 Lake, Red 21 Lake, and Red 27 Lake (not approved for use on the eye area by FDA).
About This Series
Each look idea is centered around a “quad” of four shades with the expectation that one might bring in the appropriate brow bone or additional transitional shade based on skin tone. I know that I tend to use more like five or six shades in a typical look, but I think that four is a happy medium to give a good idea of the “core” color scheme of a look while giving you the ability to lighten/darken as desired. I have listed the colors in this order: inner lid, middle of lid, outer lid/crease, and crease/above crease.
You might see combinations that seem slightly repeated but placement will vary (e.g. a halo placement where the lightest and more shimmery shade is placed on the center) as placement can also create a different effect/look! You might also want to consider incorporating your favorite matte/shimmer shades (as applicable) to increase the versatility of certain palettes. Consider these ideas a jumping off point!

These combinations are really pretty, and show how versatile the palette is. I can’t even pick a favorite.
I love you for this series!! its so helpful and will be so helpful when i get this palette. we really need this ! Thank you!
What does the immediate eye area consist of? Just the mobile lid??
I haven’t been able to find a specific definition – since we usually see things like waterline safe called out, I would imagine it’s pretty much the eye area – eyelid, lash line, waterline, lower lash line.
Your review was the best I have seen. I learned some tips & tricks . LOL
I’m still not sure if I am gonna purchase this palette. But I love the colors Mediterranean & Seaside. Even though ABH has a ton of singles shadows . I would love to see some singles from the other palettes.
Thank you for your review.
Oooh, I love these series. I’m always looking for inspiration so I can get the most use out of my palettes. I’ll try to recreate all of them! Thank you so much for the post 🙂
