This looks SO much like the Viseart Grande Pro 3 palette. Wow. (Not exact by any means, but the color story has many similarities!)
I love how pretty and bright it is, but several shades do seem to be dupes of each other.
Thanks for getting these swatches up! Pretty palette but the greens and orange swatches look very similar. Probably could have used a bit of contrast in those colors. I have way too many warm toned eye shadows so the Vol.2 Norvina is more appealing to me right now.
Again … so many colors that would look the same when worn on the eye. This palette could be cut down by 1/3 and still be just as adventurous. Swatches look decent.
Why do all of these Norvina palettes have doubles of some of the shades? They’re being kind of lazy. At the very least they could include some unique duochromes instead of two neon greens, two bright yellows, similar oranges, etc.
And here I thought Modern Renaissance had too many matte oranges.
Wayyy too many shades that are similar to one another
This palette is HUGE – seriously, it is far too big. And I have just counted 8 orange shades. I think it could have easily been whittled down to half its size.
It is also looking a lot like a few others that have recently been released in the market – Viseart?
What a nightmare to review too.
I just swatched this and volume 2 in store. I’m NC15 and the yellows and oranges, dark red/browns, some greens, purples, pinks were dupes within one palette and between palettes. If I can find a place to upload those shots I’ll post arm swatches. Having said that, D4 in this palette is stunning.
I kind of have to walk back my scathing first impressions based on the marketing images. These are very bright and colorful in person and fun, if you’re into these colors. If you could pop these out and rearrange them I think a lot more people would enjoy them.
The pigment is there and impressive for a number of shades and some of the metallic shades were absolutely beautiful.
I feel badly for having trashed these palettes just for their color arrangement. They have merit, in swatch performance and value.
Of the 3 (so far!), I like this one the most. Still hate the scattered, randomness with which the shades are placed. Noticed that again, some shades are dupes for others within the palette. Yet, it looks like it has fairly solid quality, just like #2 does!
Wow, A4 and D3 (the lime greens) look identical. And C1, D2, and D5 (champagne shimmers) are too similar to be in the same palette. A2 and A5 (matte oranges), and A3 and D1 (warm browns) look very similar as well. So many dupes within the same palette!
If anyone is looking for a palette of approximately 3 shades of the same orange and 3 shades of green that look similar, this is for you. This is just so silly.
This palette just looks… lazy… at least it does to me. Most of the swatches are nice but so so many of those colors won’t translate as unique to each other on the eye. Maybe it’s just me but the color story looks a little confused also. Brights are some of my absolute favorites. I own several palettes similar to this. The difference is variety of finishes and fewer duplicate shades. I’m disappointed in this one.
Sick to death of Norvina palette realeases. Just churning them out like CP but much more disjointed and jarring in color scheme. I think Norvina is creative and beautiful but I hate how she eclipsed Jackie’s release with her own series.
Make it stop!
LOL, I said this and only added…”And no”.
I do love it for the gals who can rock these types of neons. This would have been such a cool palette during the 80s.
The swatches look so pretty .It’ll be hard to choose between this and Volume 2 . I love all the green shades .
Whoa, another odd ball here. I really like the greens, purples and oranges. Will have to see the reviews of them all. Some how, I’m almost wanting this series more that Natasha Denona’s anniversary palette (but I feel like I’ll regret it later if I don’t purchase it since it’s limited edition).
