I got a sample of this product and absolutely fell in loved with it i could not wait for it to finish so I could get my self the bigger version. I got it about a year ago and keep loving it of course sometimes I have a love-hate relationship with it but it will always be in my top 5.

This has been my go to mascara recently for more dramatic eyes. I love the spikey end for getting every last lash. I have found that applying the product too heavy handed will cause it to clump significantly so it does take a while to get right.

I've tried a lot of mascaras over the years, and I think that this is the one for me. My lashes already are fairly long and thick so while I do like mascaras that add a bit of additional length and volume, the most important thing to me is definition! I want lashes that look natural and like my own, except a bit enhanced and this mascara really fits the bill for me. I'm taking off half a star because I wish it curled a bit more, but overall, I'm VERY pleased with this mascara from Benefit.

I have to say, I'm fairly indifferent to this product. There are many products out their that are better and ones that are worse, but as a makeup artist I dont think they are worth the hype. They are a fairly dramatic mascara which i love, but i feel that it fell flat amongst everyones raves about it. For one thing I felt the applicator was rough and tough, it hurt my lashes while applying it which was something I've never felt before. It also just increases the length of my lashes, didnt really curl it at all.

This mascara is amazing, it really is the best I have ever used. It really defines, lengthens and thickens my lashes. Makes my eyes so much brighter, its the blackest mascara. It does not budge all day. I find I only need to go over my lashes twice, with one little wiggle at the roots and I am good to go! The wand is just great, the little sticky out bits on the end of the wand are perfect for getting all the outter lashes covered. It's even great to use on my bottom lashes- no smudging no clumping. Its easy to take off too, I use a make up remover for sensitive skin and it comes off in a couple of swipes- no rubbing or pulling. I get asked all the time what mascara I am using, and I am more than happy to tell people just how great this stuff is! It is pricey, but well worth the money in my opinion. I have no reason to purchase any other mascara for the rest of my life. I just hope they never stop making it!

This is probably my only holy grail product of all time. I like a lot of beauty products, but this is always my #1 go to. I can’t ever imagine buying anything else and I’ve repurchased this so many times I can’t even count. This is the blackest, most amazing mascara. You have to trust me when I say just try it out, you will never go back to your old one. Great formula, amazing brush, fair price ($23). The other day I brought my mother to Sephora to pick up a couple makeup items and this of course was one of them. One of the sales men was there and had asked me casually what I was planning on purchasing. I replied “Well, only the best mascara of all time, ever.” He laughed and gave me a sample of the Dior “Diorshow” mascara. Well, guess which one is still my favorite? Seriously there is NO comparison. Best. Mascara. Ever.

This product stakes high claims, and in my experience, falls short. It is difficult to build volume with this mascara, however it's not for the usual reasons - not because it clumps (it doesn't) and not because it dries too quickly and goes crunchy while you attempt to apply it. It simply doesn't build, and when attempting to apply multiple coats, it actually flattens the natural curl in my lashes. I also find it hard to apply to specific areas - I end up with product on my lower lashes when I'm attempting to apply it to my upper lashes. Wear throughout the day is quite good - I get some dots from the tips of my lashes (less than other brands, but still annoying), but it doesn't smudge or smear (not that I've cried, sweated, or thrown water at my face while wearing it!). Removal is also frustrating - the pigment settles around my eye area, and only oil based remover will shift it. Most mascaras have this issue, however this is the worst offender I've come across. I personally am not a fan of this product.

This mascara does it all! Hands down my favorite mascara. It lengthens, curls, defines, and thickens. The only down-side comes with the watery formula. I know some prefer this, but it's an inconvenience for me. I give it a couple of applications to dry up a little bit. Flaking only happens when the mascara has completely dried out. It can get clumpy if you get too crazy with your layers, but that's really any mascara. I apply this exactly how the packaging instructs you. I start by evenly coating the base of my lashes with long strokes of the broad side of the wand. Then, I wiggle AND twist the wand up my lashes. Basically, keep the wand moving. I finish with the tip of the wand; I work it through the tips of my lashes to get maximum length. Work slowly and deliberately to get seriously dramatic lashes. A few quick strokes will give you day ready eyes!

It was a so-so mascara, it didn't perform terribly. However for the price I just wish it was a little bit easier to work with on Asian eyes and didn't clump my lashes together as much as it did. I do like how black it is though! It is one of the most pigmented mascaras I've used that is a true jet black :)

This is my favorite mascara. It is very easy to apply, you don't have to put much effort to have a beautiful long and defined lashes. I already have a back up and I will repurchase after I use that one up!

So this is hands down the best mascara that I own, Tate's Lights, Camera, Mascara coming in as a close second. This mascara is one of the best I have ever used. You can feel each eyelash separating and becoming thicker as you apply the mascara. It leaves your eyelashes looking fuller by the time you're done applying no questions asked.
