Temptalia Asks You - How do you keep track of your stash?

How do you keep track of your stash? How do you remember what you bought?  Do you have a spreadsheet or do you just remember from memory?

Memory!  I tried to do a spreadsheet, but I’m too lazy.

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Memory, but i plan on making some sort of spreadsheet later on so that i don’t wind up with doubles of seldom used items. Although, there’s nothing wrong with stocking up on favorites (*glances at 3 Sweetie Cakes glosses, 2 Honesty e/s, 4 Strawberry Blonde lipsticks…….*)

Memory – most of the time. I have moved a lot temporarily and I list the stuff I take with me, just to make sure I don’t miss anything (a tad obsessive about some products…) when I move back home!

I have a spreadsheet that I update every time i make purchases or if a product runs out. I also have the purchase dates of all my products in there just so I don’t end up using a 5 year old lipglass or something lol

Memory for my make up, but I have considered doing a spreadsheet.. I have one for my nail polishes as I have far too many and they are loaned out often, so if I don’t know what I own, I would probably not even realise if several were missing!! I love OPI 😀

Spreadsheets.I don’t get lazy,I don’t get behind.Once you end up with two Bombshell lipsticks,you really don’t need a third one.For some reason I keep choosing same things….

the spreadsheet also made me realize how many dupes i have of eyeshadows, but i never noticed til now bc they were all in different brands

Memory. I started a list of what I amassed through June, 2007, but have quit keeping track because my spending looks ridiculous on paper.

Memory for me! I would think that a spreadsheet would benefit me once my collection grows, but I try to keep mine small. Once, I got bored and started a list & description of my eyeshadows, but it wasn’t very thorough.
