I think my first makeup product were some random glitters from a shop in Santa Cruz… if not those, then Benefit cream shadows

My first purchase was a Wet and Wild Black Eyeliner in Junior High School. I’ve been HOOKED every since. My make-up has long grown out out of Wet and Wild though! LOL

MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in Whim. I saw a girl at school wearing it and she told me what it was. I still have it, too. I got it three or four years ago and I’ve only used it a few times.

Fun! My mom refused to let me wear colored polish til I was like, 14!
hahah…. my mother bought me those roll on clinique eyeshadows – dark brown and light brown and a palette with blush/eyeshadow and lip palettes. she even showed me how to put it on and stuff. she told me her basic rule: never go out looking like you just rolled out of bed hahhahah.. *sigh memories.

What’s funny is that I don’t remember at all. However, I can tell you that the first MAC product I bought was Studio Fix powder.

Studio Fix was probably my first face powder ever, too.
a MAC lipstick (Iconic, i think) and lipliner before my prom. before that, everything was “borrowed” from my stepmom LOL

My first time at the MAC counter, I picked up Naked Lunch and Trax e/s. NL is still my most-used shade.

My first purchase was a Strawberry Wet and Wild lipstick along with a Cover Girl compact. The shades were all wrong but I was young and didn’t know anything about colors. I’ve come along way since then!! =)

I don’t remember my first make up purchase, I wasn’t really into it until I dicovered MAC. But my first MAC purchase was Pink Poodle lipglass and some really bright pink pro long wear, which I dont think I ever used. After that I was much more aware of what I was buying, and now its the only makeup brand that I wear.
Do you still like Pink Poodle? It was one of my first lipglasses, too 🙂

My mum has forced me to wear mascara.Shortly after I have bought two lipsticks (ugly light pink,and equally ugly frosty light coffee or something pretty close to it) and two eyeshadows (white and brown – frost).About six months later I bought first foundation….but wasn’t quite sure how to use it lol,lol,lol….big lol….
Wow, that’s a first! I haven’t heard many stories about moms forcing their daughters to wear makeup before!
hmm, that’s a tough question! i’m sure it was sometime in 1995, and it was probably something like wet n wild l/l #666 (which is still made. i checked.), or some maybelline pressed powder (it was purple and square). the rest is history!
Oh, my! I can’t believe they’re still making it 12 years later, wow!
I think it was Body Shop Clear Mascara…I was 13 then and I saw it in a magazine. Too scared to try tinted mascara

My mom did not want me wearing any makeup until I was “older” (she just kept saying older… she was so stalling!) So one day, maybe when I was 11 or 12 I went through her makeup and PLASTERED my face with everything! She walked in and started laughing (I *seriously* looked like a clown lol) and made me wash my face and showed me how to put everything on- then after she made me wash my face again she told me that I can NOT wear anything but powder until I was “older”. She took me to Chanel and got me my very own pressed powder… ***Memories… I am only 20 but that sounds so long ago…

I think I wrote about some part of this before on this site but I will share again 🙂 I was like 12’ish and my BBF and I rode our bikes to the local mall and bought matching grey and bright pink ES duo, it was made by Rimmel before it was big over here (I was living in Denmark at the time). I think we got lipgloss also but I don’t remember that as vividly. I kept the ES until a recent move when it broke 🙁 yep that was like 20 year old ES!!! LOL and no I wasn’t still wearing it…just kept it for sentimental reasons.

I remember exactly what I got – Revlon’s Love That Red. I was about 14 and got into red lipstick right away and never looked back since 😉
