MAC Rose Is a Rose Quad
is FINALLY available at Nordstrom!
You can purchase online or you can purchase online and pick-up in-store (to save on shipping). Will you be scoring one for yourself, or will you be skipping this time around? The official release date is slated for May 20th to coincide with Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly sale, so I don’t know if the online site will ship now or if stores will let you pick it up now. YMMV.
The quad contains:
- Solar White Golden white (Frost) (Repromote)
- Contrast Dark purple/blue (Velvet) (Permanent)
- Seeds of Love frosted peach (Frost)
- Petal Worship Light, blue-based pink (Frost)
P.S. – Dior 5-Colour Designer Eye Palette are also now available on Nordstrom, plus $5 shipping for beauty purchases of $50 or more!

I stopped at Nordstroms last night and my MUA there said they aren’t putting it out until the 20th. She did let me see the tester and swatch the colors though. I was really dissapointed in the pink and peach colors. Not good payoff at all. 🙁

Aww! At least you got to test it, though. I didn’t have any pay off issues with the pink or purple eyeshadow colors. I wonder if the tester is just embedded with everyone’s oils.
Christine – will you be swatching this quad at anytime? My Nordie’s is a bit further away & I don’t go to that mall unless I have to so i hate to drive there just to swatch something. Contrast & Solar White are obvious scores, but after reading the previous comment, i’m a little hesitant about Seeds of Love & Petal Worship if the color pay off stinks. Can anyone else comment on their swatch impression of the two new colors?

Christine – did you mention somewhere you have ordered the Dior Skin Shimmer in Copper Diamond? will you do swatches of it? i’m dying to see it coz i have rose diamond and pop diamond, coral riviera blush and the rose brazilia blush and i wanna know what Copper Diamond is about, please 🙂

I was lemming this and would have bought it when Rose Romance came out but now I’ve had too uch time to think about it. I can totally live without it.

King of Prussia is not selling this regardless of online site to store ordering. They are sticking to the 20th release date.

Contrast? WTH? Again? Seriously, they should make a palette with Contrast and Deep Truth and anything else they re-promote constantly and just get it out of their systems!

I swatched this palette at my local Nordstrom’s and knew I had to have it! The colors give decent payoff (more so than the shadows I bought from Rose Romance) and contrast is a nice color to have a duplicate of. I pre-ordered for the 20th (will be double points for Nordies half-yearly sale!!), can’t wait to pick it up!

I heard that it won’t be, unfortunately.
