Holiday Make Up Guide - Part 3: Smoky Eyes, Rose-gold Cheeks, and Pink Pout

Winter-white matched with feminity for a perfect combination of beauty. Pair this gorgeous coat (at a greatprice, if I do say so myself!) with smokey eyes, soft pink lips, and cheeks that are just a touch rosy, with gold undertones. Laura Mercier’s Mosaic Shimmer Block Blush offers a darling quad with shimmery white, beige, taupe, and rose. Apply the rose hue to apples of cheeks and highilght with the beige color on cheeks, forehead, and chin. For eyes, MAC’s Smoky Eye Palette is a great way to go about doing it. Try any of the lighter colors all over the lid, and use one of the deepest colors for the very outer crease and lid, and blend to perfection. For lips, we like a neutral, slightly shimmery lipstick, like Shu Uemura’s Lolishine lipstick.

The coat says it all; you’re bound to attract eyes with such a light colored coat. It needs little makeup to complete the look, but you can always add a bold red lip with lots of black mascara for a more dramatic, night-on-the-town kind of face. Just a slight smokey eye can be perfect for both day and night, which is why we chose to go for versatile rather than aimed at a particular time in the day. Just be careful what you eat, where you sit, and where you lay this coat!
