MAC Graphic Garden, Colour Craft, & A Rose Romance Tidbits

Last month, we revealed a sexy little quad exclusive to Nordstrom as part of the MAC Rose Romance. Thanks to Adina of Krasey Beautiful, we have the details on the colors!

  • Solar White Golden white (Frost) (Repromote)
  • Contrast Dark purple/blue (Velvet) (Permanent)
  • Seeds of Love frosted peach (Frost)
  • Petal Worship Light, blue-based pink (Frost)

She also shared a few tidbits about MAC Graphic Garden, which will be this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Collection, and it will include several palettes, kits, and sets. This launch is slated for July 2009 (the typical timing for Nordstrom’s Anniversary).

Additionally, MAC Colour Craft will anniversarize last year’s Mineralize Collection. It features a variety of mineralize blushes, mineralize eyeshadows, and mineralize skinfinishes–of which it looks like we’ll be seeing six, with Porcelain Pink as the only repromote.

Even though I already have Solar White and Contrast, I will get this quad because I am quad junkie!!!……and you can NEVER have too many Solar White, IMO.

hey christine! i looooooooove the peach color. oh by the way, when you recently did your smokey eye how-to i mentioned to you that my blue eyes get lost in smokey eye makeup. you suggested i use more color. did you mean i should do things like dark purple liner instead of black and green instead of gray shadow, etc.?

I think I need the Rose Romance quad, I don’t have Contrast or Solar White. And I already have an entire look picked out using the Rose Romance collection. I’ll probably pass on Colour Craft though, I don’t really care for blushes and I only have 1 mineralize eyeshadow. I have a feeling I will love Graphic Garden though.

Hmm, okay
maybe i don’t want the nordstroms quad, since i really only wanted the dark blue color. i’ll just get contrast in pan form instead!
ps: d’you think mac has a perm. dupe for seeds of love?

Nordies collections are usually available at The Bay

Oh man, MAC really has my wallet in a choke hold this year. I don’t think I should buy anything from perm line, or buy clothes….or….eat.

I duno if you already know. I was just at The Bay today and asked if they will have the quad. The makeup artist said NO. DAMMMMIIITTTT!!!!!

Man, I wasnt even planning on buying this quad. But the more I look at it, the more I want it since I dont have any of those colors, although I do have colors similar to contrast. Hmm, idk if I should buy this or all of the single eyeshadows from the Rose Romance Collection. What do u guys think, anyone?? And the other collections look interesting, especially mineralized skinfinish which are my faves, so Il be on the look out for those =D

I love my solar white, but it comes off a lot more yellow/gold than it looks in the pan. Any suggestions on how to use it with a different effect?

I was reading this blog somewhere about how its usually the case where you love, love 2-3 colors and you can’t care less about the other two. It’s like that here.

I can’t wait for Colour Craft and Graphic Garden!! To Linda P: Colour Craft is going to be released on July 2nd and Graphic Garden is going to be released on July 17th. Specktra has more info about Colour Craft so if you want to see the full color story about it.
