Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I can’t think of any but I would love to have easy access to CHANEL again (no Chanel makeup counter anywhere near me….fragrance, sure, but not colour cosmetics). Ditto Westman Atelier – I’ve never tried anything from the brand and only a very limited # of products are even carried in store at the Sephoras that are near me and at WA prices, I’m not willing to gamble.

I’ve always been interested in trying Clionadh shadows. That being said their shipping rates to the US are exhorbident and I just can’t justify payinjg their rates just to try one or two shadows to see if I like them…..

Girlcult most certainly! I still haven’t tried Clionadh proper, and would like to pick up an eyeshadow or two someday (I don’t have much need for several, haha). La Bouche Rouge for luxury. Gourmande Girls for their Silent Night palette.

Serum foundations and TMs seem notoriously difficult to judge w/o a largish sample. Didn’t try your Chanel bec brands that are ‘forgiving’ and have only a few shades are always too yellow for me. Looking at the tinted products, other than suncare, I’ve found you cannot project what the product will be like. Primarily it’s the ratio of skincare to pigment. Make looks glowy in the bottle, looks pigmented in the drop, but is far more ‘needs absorption’ skincare and minimal pigment. It seems best for the ultra-dry population. Jane Iredale seems virtually all pigment with far less skincare. In a few years, my skin (never good) went from oily/acne prone, through oily dehydrated, to sensitive dehydrated to aged, sensitive dehydrated. (Some related to an uncommon form of psoriasis and sequelae, 100s of types of pain and post-lesion pain and immune issues) The Rose fits my needs because it has light (%, not shade) pigment and non-oily, mildly moisturizing skincare. I think most people will have a narrow window of what suits them. The choices are many, but shade range is usually not enough. It is an exasperating product and the struggle is real.

I would like to try any brand that has the shade colours and finishes that I like – that are excellent quality.
Cosmetics are just over the top expensive here and so are the international shipping rates, so I do have to absolutely sure that I will love it.
JD Glow and Give Me Glow are two that I would like to try.
