We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Just one? Can’t narrow it down to just one! Marc Jacobs Brav-O, Dior Bonne Etoile #3, Urban Decay Casterly Rock (I bought MJ Brav-O because Christine listed it as a dupe and I feared using it up). Also, I have to include (because both were such pleasant surprises because I thought they were shades I wouldn’t/couldn’t wear or like) UD House Targaryan and Weirwood Leaves, both from the GoT palette.
Very off topic here, sorry.
I couldn’t respond to your kind post, so I just want to thank you for kind words.
On topic, I have UD GoT palette and still haven’t used it. I was even thinking of selling it. Maybe I should just try it instead.
I think when there are too many replies to a post, it sort of “fills up”. Helene, you are very welcome – you feel like a friend after all these years posting and reading…
The GoT palette is not the most practical and some of the shadows are dreadful BUT some of them are REALLY good which is why I bother to keep it around, fiddle with the stupid packaging and use it fairly often.
ShinebySD Revenge… it is SO breathtaking.
CT eyeshadow from the Dolce Vita palette, I think it’s called Bella Sophia now. Amazes me every time I use it.
Very dark gray with a little shimmer. If I find one that I love and it’s good quality, I go through it in no time. I wear it like crazy. Any palettes that I have with that shade, it’s the first one that I run out of. I also love dark browns.
I will always love and reach for Burberry Pale Barley a really beautiful soft taupe gold with the perfect amount of sheen. I also still get giddy using the Charlotte Tilbury Fire Rose quad or the PML Venus in Fleurs quad…the colors are all sooooo beautiful.
I still find something refreshingly exciting about MAC Satin Taupe.
It’s a classic for a reason! It’s a great eyeshadow (at least the original, not the one they put in a recent palette…)
Me too. I LOVE MAC’s Satin Taupe. I am so fearful that they’ll discontinue it that I filled a four-pan eyeshadow palette with 4 Satin Taupe. Hopefully, that will last me a long while and MAC really won’t discontinue it.
Satin Taupe is among my favourites. It’s a true classic eyeshadow.
Urban Decay Mildew and Tom Ford Spring 2015 eyeshadow! I’m so sad they were limited edition/discontinued!!
Anything shimmery or metallic taupe in general. Specifically, Opulent from Clionadh, Aurora from the SGxTemptalia collab, and Holo Mulberry from Touch in Sol.
Something that I only realized when I used it for the Saturday part of my Convention: MAC Magic In Your Eyes! Loved it so much that I used it again this past Friday when I went for a medical test.
It’s in a tie with your SG shade Mielke Way! And I use this one quite often in colorful looks as my mobile lid shade because it can meld with almost anything colorful.
It is a pretty close toss up between Ellis Faas Lights Antique Silver, E301 and Ellis Faas Lights Green E125 Khaki. I also really like the Bordeaux Shade of Cream Lights.
Christine, is there some reason my comments are not being approved and seen? I have looked back over the past little bit and many times my comments are not approved and are sitting in the submitted stage. Thank you.
MAC Amber Lights or Vex
Any Blue Brown type shade
Luscious from Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette
Burberry Rosewood. It’s a near-perfect taupey neutral for hazel green eyes with cool fair skin. I’m pretty sure it has been discontinued.
Like many of us eyeshadow aficionados here, it’s hard to limit us to just one ooh and aah eyeshadow….
Mine would be:
Pixi Beauty’s Reflex Light Chestnut Glimmer
SG Temptalia’s Magellan’s Light and Flying High
CT’s Olive green shade No2 in The Rebel 2020
UD’s YDK
PMG’s Gold Nectar
It’s nothing exciting, but I love and wear everyday MAC Naked Lunch. Something about it on me just completes everything. I do get asked many times what is that eyeshadow.
The “golden” khaki shade from the Chanel Méditerranéen palette, and both the lilac topper and the taupe from the Suqqu 116 Koukyou palette come to mind. Im not sure is it only because I have been using both palettes quite a lot recently? Both palettes came out in 2022 and I can’t seem to remember what I liked before that!
MAC All THAT GLITTERS ♥. It is my all time favorite. I use it almost everyday. MAC discontinued it for a little while and I was devastated. Now I buy several singles anytime there is a sale.
I love wearing Terra Moons Red Giant it a beautiful red/pink, iridescent multi chrome that I like to wear over my red eye shadows. I always get complimented on my look when I wear Red Giant!
Pretty much all the SG x temptalia shade. glossover and aurora just my breath
I also love Unexpected from JDglow
MUFE Peacock (old formula) & Colourpop Moonwalk (I want to wear it over almost everything)!
Too Faced Salted Caramel from the original Chocolate Bar Palette
