We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Cargo Blu-Ray concealer – bring THAT back and I’d be in heaven! For me, it’s not so much a question of formula as it is performance or where it’s meant to conceal. I really only use concealer for under my eyes and so many concealers – even “creamy” ones like Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer – turn dry and quite hideous on my under-eyes, even though I use an eye cream. I would just love to see more concealers specifically for the under-eye area that deliver on the promises of concealing, brightening and looking moist or dewy rather than dry and dehydrated. The proliferation of “matte” concealers – which I understand make sense for a lot of concealing on other parts of the face – just makes me feel even more “hopeless”. As for stick concealers, a few months ago I found a Chanel stick concealer that I didn’t even know I had. Lord knows how many years it had been lingering in a box in the basement but it is wonderful even after however many years AND the stick shape itself is perfect for that area where the dark circles under my eyes are their worst.

Something that looks as natural in finish as my serum concealer by Nyx (I think it’s called Bare With Me?), but that plays well with my waterproof foundation that I typically use during our 5-6 months of hot weather! The Nyx one never looks dry, crusty, or just the opposite, too emollient. Has great coverage for my needs, so I really love it.

Even though I am not (yet) a concealer wearer, what I would want to see is one that is light enough to suit my skintone, with the pink undertones. I would probably like a stick concealer, as this would be easy to manage. But I wouldn’t want it to dry out and be sludgy looking underneath my eyes.

I also wish there were more stick concealers available, though I believe I’ve found my holy grail in the Bobbi Brown Skin Corrector stick. It almost feels like it’s got a bit of gel in it, and just needs to be pressed into place. Not so great for pimples, but for undereye circles (my main issue) it’s unsurpassed.
