I think it would depend on the type of vacation. If it was warmer, humid, and a lot of time was spent outdoors, I can’t imagine I would bother except for maybe out to dinner in the evenings! If it was more like visiting family or where you’re mostly indoors, then definitely would wear makeup but probably less than my usual since I wear quite a bit day to day!

I wear more. Much more. Beaches are wasted on me. Vacation is for cites. If it doesn’t have museums, restaurants and public transit, I’d rather stay-cation.
Depends on where I am & what I’m doing. If I’m on a beach, probably not much. If I’m going to museums, I’m wearing my normal amount which is a full face
I don’t think I ever wear more. Usually I wear my usual amount. If it’s somewhere where I’ll be outdoors a lot in hot and/or humid weather, I’ll wear way less.
Depends on the vacation. At a resort, where I’m spending most of my day in the pool or on the beach, hardly any. Sunscreen is far more important. In Vegas, where I’m regularly out at shopping centers, shows and walking about the strip, I wear more than usual (but not that much more). Traveling with friends, I wear the usual amount.
Like you, for me it totally depends on the type of vacation and activities involved. Obviously, if I’m ever going to the beach again, no makeup except for afterwards when I go to the boardwalk or a restaurant. However, if the venue is of a more “formal” or a mostly indoor setting, I will wear my full face makeup look.
The same! I wear generally the same amount of makeup every day. The only difference would be if I used mascara (which I do in autumn/winter but not in summer).
So one of my favourite things about going on trips is thinking about what makeup to take. I picture what we’ll be doing-maybe walking in a city, maybe doing a camel trek, maybe a Disney trip and plan accordingly. When I say I think about it, I mean I think about it for months. And then we go on the trip and like clockwork, two days in and I basically don’t wear anything. But it’s fun to think about!
The same or more, (“more” especially if we’re going out for a lovely dinner, stroll, drinks or coffee in a cafe). I’ve got more time on vacation so will take the time if we are going someplace special though for daytime and exploring around, I don’t want to spend too much time on makeup.
If I was to go to the ocean, spend my time on the beach I’d wear no makeup at all, only sunscreen. I would put on a bit for evenings though.
If I was to go to a city, visit museums, do some shopping, seeing the sights, eat out every day I would wear my usual amount, full face, adding a bit more for evenings out.
Less, unless there’s a special event! I generally do just tinted sunscreen, one-and-done shadow, eye liner, mascara, and lipstick.
Less. More trouble to transport it safely, make sure not to lose it…
