Silence

ColourPop Silence Pressed Powder Blush ($10.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a bright, medium red with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. I was impressed by how easily this blended out at sheerer coverage!

  • Medium, buildable coverage as marketed
  • Finely-milled, somewhat powdery
  • Picked up evenly with a brush and blended out well on cheeks
  • Long-wearing (8.5 hours before fading noticeably)

Formula Overview

$12.00/0.28 oz. - $42.86 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

Yup. Both Ex A and Taj Mahal (Hope you have it, ‘cause imo it would look great on you. Especially with the feather hand you need.). Even KB 3CE reds are pretty intense, but they sheer out better than the Nars.. I could never get that ethereal K model look, even w/ a K MUA applying it. Funny that the copper-red MACs are so much easier.

I totally clicked the link just to see how that bright orange-red could possibly work as a decent blush. I too am impressed at how well it sheered out, and at how good it looks on you… but I still think it’ll look awful on me. I suspect I’d look very sunburned. 🫤
