Juice Beauty - Introduction and Review of Hydrating Mist, Oil-Free Moisturizer, Green Apple Moisturizer, Antioxidant Serum, Cleansing Milk, Green Apple Peel
Juice Beauty is a line that offers organic beauty solutions to consumers. All products are made with organic wellness in mind and backed by science. Their skincare products have a 100% certified organic juice base, and while some products may label themselves as organic with 5% or less of organic content, Juice Beauty boasts an impressive 95% total organic content. There is a definite focus on yielding the best age-defying results, and this means they search near and far for ingredients to best suit their line–going as far as Madagascar! What else does this line offer? No animal testing, 100% vegetarian ingredients–for all you conscious of keeping clear of animal-tested products!
Hydrating Mist: This product is a blend of white and red grape juices, aloe vera, rosehip, grapeseed oil, and vitamins and its purpose is to hydrate and balance your skin’s moisture. It’s full of antioxidants, which are fabulous for your skin, and this is a great way to freshen up your face and skin with a quick spritz.
Oil-Free Moisturizer: I really hate when I get a facial moisturizer that’s extremely heavy, doesn’t quite absorb, and leaves this oily film behind – it reminds me of sunscreen all over my face (this is why I’m so picky about what sunscreen I use for my face, too!). What I loved about this moisturizer is that it left my face with a matte finish, which is exactly the finish I love (my foundation gives me a matte finish, so you can tell I’m a matte-skin-lovin’ gal!).
Green Apple Moisturizer: Love it because it has some SPF 15 in it, which is always a great add-in to any beauty product (protect that skin!!). The smell is a bit of a sour green apple, so I would love to see it sweetened up a bit, but that’s more of a personal preference!
Antioxidant Serum: This is an anti-aging product that uses antioxidants, alpha lipoic acid, peptides, and other nutrients to help smooth fine lines and firm up skin to make it more youthful and flawless. I tend to look at how anti-aging products effect the subtle lines by my eyes and those infamous smile wrinkles (which are, albeit, subtle, as well). I noticed that my skin was a bit firmer, but it did look better. I’m young yet, so these poor anti-aging products have to really pack some zazoom for me to go, “Oh, yeah, I look 12 again!”
Cleansing Milk: I liked this product the most out of the bunch I sampled and reviewed, because it felt refreshing as a cleanser and night-time solution to washing away the stress from the day and feeling relaxed enough to fall asleep. It has raspberry and white grap ejuices with aloe vera, grapeseed oil, and vitamins, and it gently remoevs eye makeup, cleanses, and leaves a dewy, moist complexion.
Green Apple Peel (sensitive): There’s nothing like a good “face mask” or at-home-facial love, and the slight smell of green apple makes you just feel healthier using it. I always find organic/natural scents to be less intrusive and residual, which for my face, is always a plus. Give me a swig of Dior Addict, but when it comes to my face, less is more for scents! My skin definitely felt rejuvenated after using this product! It’s a nice treat as an exfoliator once or twice a week.
I use Juice Beauty lip balm and I didn’t even know about its organic properties! Now I’m curious about the other skincare products especially the antioxidant serum… thanks!
How do you like the lip balm?
Yep, it’s all about organic with Juice Beauty!
I actually really like the MAC make up removal towelettes. They have a nice scent and are in the same type of container as the Estee Lauder towelettes, plus they even remove liquidlast, which as everyone who owns liquidlast knows is quite a feat. I usually get the package of 100 for $24.50 as opposed to 45 for $16.00, but I hate those make up removing towelettes that leave your face feeling dirty, but my MAC towelettes leave my face feeling fresh. Some days I don’t even wash my face because those are pretty much enough for me.. plus they’re great for travel.
I like using towelettes when I don’t have time, but I prefer a facial cleanser that’s cream/gel/liquid because I feel it is easier on my skin (since towelettes rub and pull at you rskin).
