What would you love to see Maybelline release?
I would love to see more highlighters from them, and I think it’d be neat to take that formula and take down some shimmer to create a luminous blush formula.

I’d love to see them repackage their concealer – the one in the click up packaging with the sponge tip – into something far more practical and easy to use. I never know where on the domed sponge that the actual product has emerged from the bottom – invariably I end up twisting up waaaay too much product but as I can’t see where it is, I twist up more and more…. A tube with a doe foot or a container with a brush tip would be so much nicer to use. The product itself is really good, especially for a budget priced/drugstore concealer, which is why I continue to use it, but the packaging – really annoying (and wasteful).
Yep, I’m with you. I bought it because Karen@makeup&beauty blog swears by it. I’m clicking away, it’s going everywhere and became a complete mess but the product is great, they just need to go back to the drawing board !
My feelings EXACTLY! It’s such a great product, but I hate the packaging. I can’t deal with that click-up sponge thing.
I agree. That sponge tip is unsanitary and impractical. Also a peach toned color corrector in that same formula for the undereye area is something I would love to see.
That being said Maybelline’s Lash. Sensation in the pink chrome tube is perfection – deep pigment, holds a curl, doesn’t smudge or flake all day, applies beautifully to fan my lashes out. Truly a holy grail in my mascara collection.
Glad to know I’m not alone, folks, about loving the product and hating the delivery system. I’m not so concerned about it being unsanitary…after all, a doe foot or a brush tip (like Touche Eclat) isn’t the most sanitary, if you want to be really technical but it isn’t great either, can’t be washed (if you are concerned about bacteria) but worst is that it just doesn’t work well at all and such a good product deserves a better “package”. I often wonder if it would be worthwhile to rip the whole sponge top off and empty the contents into a very small jar and use it that way….anyone tried that?
They seem to do long-wearing lip color very well, so I would love to see them break away from mainstream shades and finishes and offer some great shimmers, including iridescent and duochrome/multichrome options, that wear like iron and separate them from the rest of the drugstore brands.
I don’t buy from Maybelline other than the occasional lip product.
A foundation with a range like Fit Me that didn’t oxidize would be nice.
Improve. Your. Eyeshadow. Formula. Like back in the 70’s and 80’s level of quality and very beautiful shades! I mean, dang, I literally used up entire eyeshadow pans back then. I had a bright fuchsia IDENTICAL to the one in PML’s Divine Rose II Mothership, and shifty blue to cool gold duochrome and a gorgeous raisin plum-brown satiny shimmer that my Mom loved in me. Back then, they really were good!
I have mentioned this before, but I would really LOVE Maybelline to expand their “For Me” lipstick formula range – I have Spice for Me, Mauve for Me, Red for Me and they are just long wearing, creamy, hydrating lipsticks. I would like them to include a Bronze for Me, a Copper for Me, a Coral for Me (for all the coral loving lipstick wearers out there), a Berry for Me and so on.
Ooo I do love the idea of a soft, shimmery blush. Perhaps they could make a few (both powder and cream) to match their most popular lippes. That would be fun! I probably have eight of their high-shine and satin lipsticks, because they have really nailed it in that category of drugstore cosmetics. I’d love to see them make another product of that calibur.
I really wish they would go cruelty free!
