Sydney Grace Be Mine Eyeshadow Palette Swatches
Sydney Grace Be Mine Eyeshadow Palette ($52.00) launches January 26th at 9AM PT and will be available in a Light and Deep version. These are the shades that are adjusted between the two palettes: Smooch, All Mine, Love Me, Flirty, Soul Mates, and Darling. Here are swatches of both versions!
These are lovely but the entire middle row is colours I avoid. It does look beautiful, though. And the price seems a bit steep for SG (perhaps a reflection of the increased prices in just about everything but I imagine this price in Canada, with shipping as well, would be pretty high).
It’s pretty and I love my Sydney Grace shadows and palettes but this color story doesn’t suit my vampire pale skintone. I’m sure the quality will be fantastic though.
These are so beautifully mixed with both soft romantic shades and really rich grungy shades! Not sure which option I will go for, but either way, I believe this is a win. I prefer the neutrals in the deep, but the pinks in the light… 🤔
Oops! The other way around: the light neutrals, deep pinks! My bad!
There is lots to like in these two palettes, but like Mariella above, I would not use that entire row of pinks or the black matte shade – if SG had made the pinks with a more rose gold shades (which are universally flattering to all skin tones) then I would be all over them. I think I like the Deep version the best.
Oh my goodness, I love this so much!
These are colors I gravitate towards and use regularly. I’ll probably get both iterations as I’ve done with all of SG’s releases — yes, including Christine’s!
Really pretty! The first thought I had when I saw the swatches was, “oh, so this looks like a better curated and more efficient version of ColourPop’s ‘Smoke and Roses’ palette.” I don’t have that CP palette, but this Sydney Grace one is tempting!
I prefer the deeper palette in terms of the mattes, but I’m not feeling a big pull towards the palette overall. I think my biggest issue is the smouldering metallics..so beautiful, but I find them too aging on my wrinkly super hooded eyes.
This for me is another winner for me because I am in love with Sydney Grace formulas so I know I am going to love all of these colors. I also adore the more grunge driven color story so I know I will be picking this one up in the future. Even more important I am so glad these are round pan shadows. I know its a small inconvenience but I like all my shadows being the same she and shape because I usually take the palettes apart and mix them in with my singles collection so this for me is perfection. That being said, I can’t help comparing this to the Everlasting Love palette and I think that palette was a bit more innovative – maybe because of the cool tone leaning which is less the norm than warm tone leaning palettes. I din; pick up the Everlasting Love palette – but now I’m getting tempted to grab it as well so I can mix the two palettes together for interesting results.
Sydney Grace posted on Instagram that the Enduring Love palette will be part of their restock on Wednesday! It looks like they’ll have it for 25% off, because it was sold out during a previous sale. I am getting a couple of restocked cream shadows!
It’s always so hard to decide between deep and light! I love that SG does it, though. I am not as drawn to this one as their other releases, especially because the sticker that was a preview of the palette was so much darker and this ended up being a lot more neutral. That being said, I love their shadows and all the shimmers are appealing. Looking forward to getting it, and glad of Christine’s swatches to help me decide.
