Chanel Spring/Summer 2022 Makeup Swatches
Chanel Spring/Summer 2022 Collections include a range of eye, lip, and cheek products, some of which I have received and swatched below. I don’t have all the products yet (some are on their way), but here are the ones I received ahead of the launch!
Most of the lipsticks look far better than I was expecting. That’s a nice surprise! I really love Rose Eclatant and Terre d’Etoiles, but also Brun Solaire. All my usual types of shades, I guess.
As for the quad, I’m not impressed. It runs way too light and 3 out of the 4 shades barely have any noticeable difference between each other.
I had the exact same response to that quad, Nancy.
That quad is right up my alley for exactly the reasons Nancy doesn’t like it 😉 I can wear it casually or to the office. Definitely not for people who want more complex looks or have deeper skin tones, but I just bought it after seeing these swatches.
Yes, I would have to agree with Nancy’s comments re the eyeshadow quad – the shades 1-3 do look very, very similar to each other with just the olive shade as the contrast. Far too pale (and dare I say insipid looking?) for most.
The lipsticks are fairly pink themed/toned for me, but I think Brun Solaire might be a nice one.
I really like some of the lipsticks and of course, I always buy at least one or two Dior Quads or Quints during the year. Doubt it will be this one for all the reasons listed by other commenters. I am going to try and pass on the lipsticks because I don’t need them and if I move I will have to downsize my makeup collection dramatically so no sense buying more right now.
