Terra Moons Holiday 2021 Eyeshadow Swatches (x8)
Terra Moons released eight new eyeshadows just in time for the holiday season. There are five new multichromes, one duochrome, and two “matte” eyeshadows (they have fine shimmer, not so much sparkle, though, throughout), which was a total of eight new shades to test out and swatch.
Based on initial swatching, the eyeshadows seemed to be consistent with Terra Moons’ formulas, but I don’t anticipate having reviews until early 2022–so here are some swatches for now! (Sometimes I wonder if reviews are as necessary now as they used to be… often, I feel like so many gather enough info from swatches alone!)
As always, with duochrome and multichrome eyeshadows, you’ll want to click/tap on any shade that piques your interest to view all of the swatch photos available.
They are all gorgeous! My favorite ones are Chasing Comets, Jupiter’s Inferno and Beyond Apollo. If I could afford the entire bundle, I would go for it, though!
Stunning holiday collection here – especially Jupiter’s Inferno; probably a bit dark for me, but I love it anyway.
I love Chasing Comets, but when I was going to order during Terra Moons sale, the postage to Australia for the 6 eyeshadows I wanted was $65 Australian! Had to pass on this
Ouch! 🙁 Maybe try Glaminatrix – they are an Australian indie brand, and they have some multichromes, too!
Chasing Comets (there’s a once in a lifetime one now,) and La Lune. The green in Lune is delightful and rather unexpected. Which led me to my thought on the downside. Were I a bit younger, I’d have an Adept storage full of all these wonderful indies and NOT HAVE A CLUE HOW ANY ONE PRESENTED. The pan color certainly doesn’t tell you what treasures lie beneath, and often does not even show the main color. It’d be another first world problem for me. But how great these are!
Waiting on order for top 4 shades, can’t wait to try Space Drifter. TM formulas are really good, Veil Nebula and Hot Spiced Cider are so creamy, on a well moisturized lid they’re almost wet looking. Tiny amount of primer definitely helps with longevity. The Milani eyeshadow primer works great and it’s cheap!
