Dior Nude Glide Rouge Blush Review & Swatches
Nude Glide (468)
Dior Nude Glide (468) Rouge Blush ($44.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a medium pink with moderate, warm undertones with both fine and slightly larger shimmer throughout. When applied and blended out on my skin, the finish looked like high pearl–definitely shimmery but not metallic or prone to emphasizing my skin’s natural texture.
It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, which could be dialed down if desired by using a lighter hand or less-dense brush. The texture was smooth, blendable, and dense without being stiff to work with. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
$48.00/0.22 oz. - $218.18 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "silky" and "lightweight" texture that's long-wearing and have "buildable" intensity. The blushes had a smooth, lightweight consistency that was finely-milled, though not as silky as I would have expected, without being too powdery nor too firmly-pressed into the pan.
The majority of the shades I tested had medium, buildable pigmentation that was hard to over-do but could definitely be intensified for higher coverage if desired. They applied evenly and blended out without issue, and they seemed to sit well on my skin with a semi-matte finish or higher. The more shimmery shades were still more low-level and had a sheen rather than overt shimmer that yielded a more metallic finish.
On my skin, most of the hues I trialed lasted eight hours before showing signs of fading. There was a soft, floral scent to the powders.

For me personally, I think I like how this looks in the pan better than applied (it’s a bit warm and coral for my colouring) but I do like it – just not $50 worth (or whatever the markup in Canada will be).
Wow – this looks gorgeous.
I was a bit disappointed on receipt. This looked pale mauve in the promo pix. The photo now is more accurate. It’s quite a bit deeper abd warner than I expected. Also, I thought it had an overspray at first and hadn’t realized it has shimmer.
It’ll probably end up on Mercari looking for a a new home at some point.
That was my feeling too, Valerie. I thought it would be more like Nars Sin and was surprised, when I looked at the dupes, at just how “coral” those shades were.
My initial impression was it would be a dupe for PMG Fleurtatious so I was fooled by pan too.
I ordered the Night Bird eyeshadow palette and two of the nail polishes, and decided to go back and order the Nude Glide blush. I’m so glad I did! Looks beautiful on you, Christine!
