Dior 5 Couleurs Couture Eyeshadow Palette Swatches (x7)
There are seven additional Dior 5 Couleurs Couture Eyeshadow Palettes ($62.00 for 0.24 oz.) that have released that I haven’t reviewed, so I bought them while purchasing the brand’s new highlighter release.
Cruise Look and Romantic Voyage are my two picks, but I also love Pink Glow. These all look quite good overall.
I so hope romantic voyage is good! I love those colors.
Thanks Christine these are beautiful! Do you know of any way I could buy these in Canada please? The Dior website does not ship to us
I’m not sure! I tried to searching on Google for two of them (Wild Brown and Romantic Voyage) but couldn’t find it available through any retailer aside from Dior.com!
Like Nancy, I like Cruise Look (I don’t think I’ll ever get hubs on a cruise ship again, though! not sure how soon I’d be happy cruising either) and Romantic Voyage but I think I can dupe all of these colours. A lot of these colours, though, seem awfully similar to one another.
They all look amazing the new 7 eyeshadow palettes from Dior especially the wild brown
Mariella would love these! Personally I like Copper and Cruise the best. The swatches look fairly good but I do think that some of the shades look fairly similar to others in the collection – eg just a rotation of shade colours.
LOL, Genevieve…. I sure do love them but I’ve got much the same reaction regarding the “rotation of shade colours” – so many do look very similar (see my post just moments ahead of yours!). At Dior’s prices, I will likely pass on these but they are so typically “Dior” in their elegance.
These are Zzzzzz. I used to love these Dior palettes. I demo the blue/copper one years ago at Sephora during a wedding makeup session and ended up buying it. They have been so blah since the early 2010’s.
I like the Pink Glow and the Copper ones. The Romantic Voyage one reminds me of a spring release maybe a couple of years ago,
Romantic Voyage would be my pick out of these. If travelling was a thing I’d do in the near future, I think I could make do with the quint for at least a week with only an addition of a browbone matte. After a week I would feel bored, though. 😀
Meh. At that price, I want them to swatch super-luxe. These look “okay”. Maybe they feel better in person or perform well, but at just a quick glance, they’re not compelling.
Plus, the colors aren’t striking or inventive. Is it so hard to add one unusual color to a quint to anchor it with a personality? These are fine mostly-warm neutrals, but brands have been releasing mostly-warm neutral and neutral adjacent colors for a decade. What could possibly make more of them compelling? Someone invent duochromes that look good on older eyes—THAT would take all my money.
