To the Core is a medium yellow with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which built up to full coverage with less than half of a layer. The texture was soft, somewhat powdery, and a little thinner, so it could have applied more evenly to bare skin. I'd use this one over a primer ideally. It wore well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.
