MAC’s Hello Kitty Collection launches officially in-stores on February 12th, 2009. It will be available online on February 10th, 2009 at www.maccosmetics.com. You can also pre-order via Nordstrom’s now.

Unfortunately I am caught up in the HK Buzz. I have to have something just because of HK. Getting the medium makeup bag and will B2M for a lipstick. I am too old for this! LOL!

I am.. I narrowed my list down a bit based on the swatches you did. Unfortunately I decided to go to the MAC store to swatch some of the items for preorder, and added on a few more items. I totally forgot we can B2M for the lipsticks. Maybe I’ll add one or two items to the list later. lol
lol, that’s always how it goes. Swatching can either really narrow down a list or really add to it! They wouldn’t let us B2M for them 🙁
everything from packaging to promotions to parties are cool…but i m more awaiting the naked honey and that warrior something….some new collection…:)

I think I may be one of the few that dosen’t see anything that interests me. I tried to find something I HAD to have, but just couldn’t. I bought quite a bit from BBR, still playing with all of that! I will pick up the new foundation and some stuff from Cream Collection.

Thanks for the heads up about the Nordstrom pre-sale Christine! I looked today and the site wasn’t listing quite a few things, not to mention none of the lipsticks. I’m glad I got my order in a couple days ago so I don’t have to stress about the whole thing.

Thanks for the coverage and all the information. I pretty much envy anyone who can even get a haul out of the Hello Kitty colletion, sadly I have to sit this one out because of lack of money to even buy a lipstick. =(

Those of you who live in NYC and/or Long Island, the Nordstrom in Roosevelt Field mall had almost all (if not the entire) HK collection out when I was there this past Saturday. I’m not sure if you can actually buy the stuff or if it’s just for pre-order (since I already pre-ordered online thanks to reading this site…lol), but the stuff is definitely there for you to test 🙂

I love hello kitty but could wait on the shadow pallets I already preorder via nordstoms but I still want get the brush set and a cpl l/g and lipsticks all the excitement over hk I keep forgettin I need to reorfer foundation lol thanks sooo much for all ur info christine

I preordered at MAC and was pretty surprised at how much money I spent (I thought I was being picky)! I still kind of want the brush jar but I’m trying to save SOME money!
LOL, the money goes fast when you spend it on MAC!
For anyone in the Vancouver BC area, the MAC store downtown JUST put out all their Hello Kitty stuff for sale at about 6:30 tonight! I thanked my lucky stars and grabbed a whole bunch:)

We still need to wait a few more weeks here in Europe before Hello Kitty is launched. I’ll do my best to go on the first release day.
It’s the accessoiries that really cought my eye: the vanity case (for my “at home” MAC things, “my work” MAC goes in the train case), the medium makeup bag and the brush pot if it doesn’t look too cheaply made. As for the makeup I only want Deep Blue Green pigment, the Fashion Mews lipstick (just to have an item with the HK design) and maybe some of the glitter eyeliners. The shadow palette packaging is adorable, but MAC has a tendency to put not very well pigmented eyeshadows into their pre-made palettes, so I will pass on that.
Actually, it’s the Sugar Sweet collection that I can’t wait to arrive!
Now that MAC had a Barbie and a HK collection, they should think about Tarina Tarantino. That could really be a hip collection
At least you have plenty of time to figure it all out 🙂
