Are there any products that instantly boost your confidence?

Filling in my brows and having some foundation (or concealer) on always makes me feel “better,” even though I’m usually fine with no makeup on as well. Foundation just really evens out my skin tone, even when worn lightly!

Highlighter. Especially something ridiculously glittery like Fenty’s How Many Carats. Because glitter and a lot of it makes me feel like an ethereal pixie, and I love feeling like an ethereal pixie. How can I possibly feel sad and gloomy when I have glitter?

I’m halfway into my third decade in this life and my love for sparkle and glitter is only intensifying.

Love this! I’m in my 4th decade and I’ve been playing around with Stila’s glitter and glow on my eyelids 🙂 I even got complimented wearing that behind eyeglasses and lip-balm!

Clear makeup makes me feel better because it makes me feel like it does not take a lot to make me look a little better even if the difference is subtle or I’m the only one who notices lol
Clear mascara/brow gel
Clear highlighter
Clear lip gloss

Absolutely, foundation + mascara.
Even a tinted moisturize, something that has some illumination though, so it reflects on the high points of my face. It gives my face dimension and evens out skin tone. I can do without concealer.
Mascara, because it opens my eyes up. My eyes aren’t small, but mascara still makes a world of difference.

Nah. Sometimes I’ll think my makeup looks really good..take a pix and I look like crap.

To me confidence comes from within and from my accomplishments.

But I am jealous of those that can get it from a makeup product. Seems easier somehow.

Blush – esp MAC Eversun, Gingerly and Hourglass blushes – just liven up my face. Throw a little lip balm and I’m good to go.

Brows, tightline (just the upper), and I have great skin………………….except for one decently sized red spot on my cheek that looks like it’s broken blood vessels or some kind of strong discoloration that only intense concealers can cover. Right after dabbing on a concealer just on that spot and instantly I don’t mind my face so much.

Mascara on previously curved eyelashes, and a quick light brushing on the eyebrows. My eyebrows don’t need a lot of work to look good regardless of the trend, and my eyelashes are really long and thick for someone with fair skin, so emphasizing those parts of my face reminds me of what I am naturally blessed for.

I feel such more like myself with a bold color lipstick, especially if it’s MAC Diva! Nothing boosts my confidence more than feeling myself.

But since my biggest insecurity is my eyes, the biggest confidence boost for me is having mascara on and at least some eyeshadow to define my crease (or lack of, since I have hooded eyes). I would say brows as well, but when they are properly groomed they look decently defined on their own.

Oh Christine, I totally hear you when it comes to filling in my puny brows. That instantly brings more attention to my eyes. Others are tightlining my upper lashline, curling my lashes, and applying mascara. Yeah, my lashes are fairly puny, too.
And definitely applying at least my BB cream and setting it with either WnW Reserve My Cabana (winter) or Hourglass Dim Light (the other 7-8 months of the year).

Hummm I’ll second that on the touch of foundation and filling in the brows..

A swipe of lipstick always gives me a lift.

Yes, there are a few beauty products that instantly boost my confidence and foundation is one of them, for the reason you suggested – it evens out my skintones, which is quite necessary for me.
Another one is lipstick – it immediately brightens my face and without it I look tired and drawn.

My Milani bronzer that I use as a contour. I really don’t leave the house without contour, even if I skipped everything else.
