The powders look lovely. But I think the packaging is horrible… It could’ve been so much classier or even edgier if she had chosen to not put herself on the case. Now it just looks tacky in my opinion.
Agreed. I was drawn to the powders but her face on the packaging is an immediate turn-off.
That was my first thought!
That packaging is just a no no no.
I really do like that Huda has continued to come out with 3 variants of face palettes (Charlotte Tilbury, take note), but I really do not like the packaging. I guess it’s supposed to mimic an award or just sunlight/radiance but something about it just seems very tacky and off to me.
Not sure about the product, but the packaging makes me think of the holy cards my grandma had.
Even though I realize that it’s all about the “glow”, I’m seriously hoping that the bronzers are satiny and not shimmery. Otherwise, I think I like the concept. Especially the inclusivity factor!
The products look pretty, but I have to agree with those saying the packaging is tacky.
I like the idea of it being mini, it’s so hard to use up these palettes when they are larger and for the purpose of packing them in my luggage too.
Yes, the packaging is a little lacklustre and smacks of a DS brand, but the shades look pretty and the brand is catering for differing skin tones.
I can’t be the only one that doesn’t mind the packaging… it’s the hairstyle she has that does it for me. Makes her look more like an old Hollywood icon than anything, so it’s easy for me to just think of it as some sort of fun, glamorous, throwback packaging.
That being said, I’m not a highlighter person, so I’m not picking this up lol. But if I were, the packaging wouldn’t bother me! 😛
I have to agree the packaging is a deal-breaker. It’s not that I don’t like her face. I don’t want *any* face on my makeup packaging.
I love that Huda continues to make inclusive products for all skin tones. Many other companies should be taking notes!
Ugh,,, a little… narcissistic..
The packaging, I guess enough has been said about it. I’m not a fan, it’s not that I don’t think she’s a gorgeous woman, I just don’t want faces, unless maybe abstract ones on any packaging.
I like that there’s options for lighter and darker skin tones, but they are all on the warm side, cool and neutral options would have made it even more inclusive. But it’s a step in the right direction.
These look pretty (not the weird packaging) but the quality. It seems like only two of the arm swatches are showing though. Looks like they doubled up on the medium shade palette?
Lovely, but I do not need another highlight palette.
