Urban Decay Sin, Virgin, Fix, Tease, Half Baked 24/7 Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches
Sin
Urban Decay Sin 24/7 Eyeshadow ($19.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light, pinky-peach base with lighter, almost peachy-beige pearl that gave it a soft sheen. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied well to bare skin with a smooth, even laydown of product.
The texture was slightly thinner, but it was smooth, soft, and easy to pick up with a dry brush. This shade lasted nicely for eight hours before fading a bit. It seemed slightly warmer in overall tone compared to the original shade.

Formula Overview
$19.00/0.06 oz. - $316.67 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "high-pigment" with "ultra-smooth color payoff with maximum blendability" while being long-wearing. The brand is confusing, as they claim "up to 12 hours."
The majority of the shades I tested were pigmented--semi-opaque to opaque--with the matte finish having the most variance. The lighter matte shades tended to be thinner, more powdery, and sheerer as a result of those texture differences. The more satin-to-pearl shimmer shades tended to be thinner, too, and they sometimes applied more unevenly or had to be built up. The higher-sheen shimmer shades tended to be pigmented, lightly creamy, and blendable with good adhesion.
They wore between eight and nine hours on average, which is solid wear time but similar to a lot of other powder eyeshadows for me, so it wasn't extra long-wearing in context.
In comparison to the last iteration of the brand's eyeshadow formula, it did not feel vastly different. The mattes seemed a little thinner and a touch more powdery, while the shimmers were a touch thicker on average with some of the more pearl-like finishes having weaker coverage and felt too firmly-pressed into the pan and looked thinner on, so they weren't as flattering to wear.

Virgin
Urban Decay Virgin 24/7 Eyeshadow ($19.00 for 0.06 oz.) has a light, warmer beige base with a satin finish. It had opaque color coverage with a soft, lightly powdery texture that was slightly thinner and drier to the touch than some of the other shades in the range, though more consistent with the lighter-hued eyeshadows in the formula. The color stayed on decently for seven and a half hours on me before fading visibly.

Fix
Urban Decay Fix 24/7 Eyeshadow ($19.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light, peachy brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It was incredibly powdery and drier to the touch, which resulted in sheer color payoff that was not buildable. There was a noticeable amount of fallout during application, and even over primer, it was a disappointment. It lasted for six hours, at best, before fading noticeably.

Tease
Urban Decay Tease 24/7 Eyeshadow ($19.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light-medium taupe with neutral undertones and a matte finish. The texture was somewhat powdery and thinner, which resulted in more semi-opaque coverage that was blendable but hard to build up. It started to fade visibly after seven hours of wear, which made it one of the shorter-wearing shades in the range. The color was much grayer and less mauve than the previous release.

Half Baked
Urban Decay Half Baked 24/7 Eyeshadow ($19.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light, golden copper with strong, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. The consistency felt more loosely-pressed in the pan, so it did not lay as smoothly on my skin without being pressed and patted onto it or applied with a dampened brush.
There was also light fallout during application as well. It had opaque pigmentation that stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading a bit. The color was very comparable to past releases.

Sin looks both warmer and also darker than the one I have in the original Naked palette (I think that’s where it’s from). And what a shame about Tease….”greyer” sounded tempting and it looked quite nice in the swatch but a C- rating…not gonna rush out and buy me a pan of “below average”.
So strange to me just how different Tease is!
Wish UD would have left well enough alone. They already HAD a wonderful line of single shadows. These are mostly disappointing.
I agree Nancy. I’m just like…but WHY?!!! Why did they do this? Ugh.
So UD is trying to replicate some of their original Naked shades and not getting it quite right. Half Baked was my most favourite shade of Naked 1, so I have a soft spot for it. The original was pressed firmly in the pan, not loose like this new iteration. The inconsistencies of the formula across these shades is indicative of a brand that’s in trouble.
L’Oreal’s probably looking to shut down this division if they can’t keep sales up on lower-quality, more cheaply produced items. They have too many divisions as it is.
Every brand has done this… Even Lancome, and I really don’t think L’Oreal was “looking to shut down this division”… With so many brands popping up constantly, the “old” brands have some irrational need to reinvent the wheel, and it never leads to an actual improvement.
That is… not how my sin has ever looked!
And what a shame about Tease. Always liked it. The old one anyway.
I find it staggering that a major cosmetics brand f’d up a *matte beige* eyeshadow this hard. Wow.
I wish Tease had performed better
I’m flabbergasted that two basic neutrals could score an F and a C+!
Really disappointed to see how different Virgin and Sin are compared to their original iterations in the Naked palette. Those were two of my favorite shades.
I actually really like the looks of Sin and Virgin…
I really do not like the aesthetics of this new packaging and it is a real disappoint to see that they reformulated and made a WORSE product. So thankful I have many wonderful UD singles in their old packaging/formula. I really messed up by not buying up a bunch when they were on 50% sale I think maybe 6-8 months ago!
I was always kind of bummed about missing out on buying the naked 2 palette. But I purchased smoky and felt like they were to similar to justify having both. Tease was one of the ones that stood out to me as being a good eye contour color. I’m happy they made it grayer and less mauve, less happy that you felt it wasn’t easy to build or long-lasting. UD wants a lot of money for their singles…..
There’s no excuse for Fix and Tease being that bad.
