Cocoa Felicita

Milani Cocoa Felicita Baked Blush ($7.99 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark, reddish-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had buildable pigmentation from medium to mostly opaque, while the texture was thinner and drier with a lot of excess product that got kicked up in the pan.

The thinner texture was less forgiving when applied to bare skin, and it was best applied over just-set or more mattified skin as it was more reactive to natural oils and could darken unevenly, which required more blending and effort to even it back out. It lasted decently for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably on me.

Formula Overview

$7.99/0.12 oz. - $66.58 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to be "buildable" that is available in a mix of "matte and shimmery shades." Most shades have medium to opaque coverage, can be built up usually (or sheered/blended out if desired), and have a soft, smooth texture that can run slightly powdery. The majority of shades I've tried apply evenly, blend out nicely, and last between seven and eight hours on me.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Idk if this one’s included, but on the Milani site, there’s a 12 shade (not a typo) blush bundle for <60$. It is a killer deal to share, gift to newbies, etc. Muse reviewed an orange shade that seems fairly shimmery and buildable. The DS products may be creeping up in price, but they are also closing the gap with midrange.
