What inspired your last makeup look?

I knew I wanted to use Pat McGrath’s newer Celestial Divinity palette with Bronze Seduction, so between the two of them, they inspired me to go a certain direction!

Desperation!

I was pressed for time this morning for an appointment and I made an absolute mess of my eyeshadow. My eyes were runny and watery so I grabbed my rose quartz roller to try and depuff.. I did get my e/s on, but as soon as I finished, my eyes immediately started leaking majorly at the outer corners! I tried to fix with a brush and made matters worse because the dampened brush created a yucky patchy epicfail. I was swearing at myself in the mirror because I did not have the time to remove and start again so I grabbed MAC Paint pot in painterly and applied with a fluffy brush on top of my botched eyeshadow. It totally saved the day!

Christine ,.. your eye look is the bomb.com
I think I’m already craving sun and dreaming of vacation because I’m doing a golden light into scarlet chocolate vibe using Marc Jacobs “ Scandalust” eye palette. adding a touch of C.T. Queen of Glow.

Snakebite, the neglected single. Me and my deep-set hooded eyes are intimidated by darker eyeshadows, so it’s by far the least used color in my custom UD quad (Foxy, Beware, Half Baked, Snakebite). Today, though, it was the focal color of a brown smoky eye – something I never tried before. Such a pretty, shimmery frame for dark eyes. Sorry I didn’t trust you, Snakebite. 🙂

Trees! I decided to play with a newly acquired Sultry ABH palette and when I used the darkest color for the liner, I noticed several of the shadows had names of trees. So I picked 4 of these to build a look. Usually I try to think of bird or butterfly colors and try to replicate the colors and make a combination with the shadows. I try to take inspiration from nature and to use different color schemes each day in order to expand my creativity.
