We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I love fragrance! And I love your pics of your Tom Ford colognes. Of that collection, I have the Tobacco Vanilla. Cool to know your favorite! I love Amber and have yet to try Tom Ford’s.

I usually layer in different areas, but when I’m feeling classic, Coco Chanel on the back of my neck and then Chanel No 5 on my décolletage and on top of my forearms. When I’m feeling romantic, I layer together Spiritueuse Double Vanille and Elixir Charnel Gourmand Coquin. I love orientals, especially warm ones because my husband melts over those.

We did dress up as Studio 54 for Halloween, and I grabbed my trusty Hot Couture by Givenchy. I always feel playful with that.

Depends on the season and my mood. In warmer months I love Niclolai’s Le Temps de Une Fete, Mazzolari Marina, Eau de Givenchy or Malle’s En Passant.
When it’s cold: vintage Halston Couture, Sonoma Scent Studio Incense, Or Noir by Morabito or David Yurman edp.

Cabochard de Gres Because my mother said so! ‘It’s a bit much for daytime.’ If I want to wear women’s, it often is a big ole chypre, anyway, like the old Guerlains.

Yes, I do have fragrances to be worn on special occasions – Laura Tonato’s Rose perfume from Rome, 100 Bon Patchuli and Vanilla and an Elizabeth and James perfume. Plus Dior’s La Dolce Vita, D & G’s Sicily, Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle – to name a few in my perfume collection.

In the winter, Tom Ford Black Orchid. For date nights or just bc I’m obsessed with scent, Tom Ford Velvet Orchid. I also love Black Opium and Flowerbomb. I’ve asked my husband for Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille for Christmas 🎄

For fall/winter it’s Oud Satin Mood by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. I wore it to an evening wedding in Oct ’18 and I never felt so seductive and carefree. For spring/summer it would be Mandarino di Amalfi by Tom Ford. He makes such unique fragrances!

I don’t have any special occasion perfumes. I rotate perfumes and there are some I will wear in the warm months vs cold months but I don’t specifically reserve perfumes for special occasions because perfume goes bad so I use what I have and don’t save it for once in awhile or special occasions!

For special occasions (or back-in-the-day when occasions could be celebrated properly) I wear Marc Jacobs Divine Decadence which I loovvee, especially when you catch a random wiff of yourself. It sucks that i can’t go in store and smell their new smell perfect as i’ve heards it’s exactly that; perfect.

For a cheap daytime dupe, I used to wear the Paco Rabanne pure XS but I just want to get through it now and upgrade to something a little more classy.

Hypnotic Poison by Door, during the holidays. I’d steal a spritz from my sister’s bottle after a bath, then act innocent when she smelled it on me over dinner.

I may buy myself a sample size of it just for the memory factor but I tend to just smell like.. soap these days. When I’m feeling fancy I’ll spray on some Rain by Demeter.

I am a big perfume and indie perfume gal. My favorite mainstream ones are YSL Black Opium and Vanilla Fields. I also really love Fyrinnae’s Jungle Cat and BPAL’s Gingerbread Poppet. I wear different scents ever day but I will say I only use my Ralph Lauren Glamorous for special days because it was discontinued.
