Would you like to see more autumn collections?

YES! I know that fall collections were likely passed on or moved around due to the pandemic for 2020, but historically, fall is a very low-key season for releases. There is so much inspiration to pull from autumn, and I wish we’d see it!

Yer darn tootin’! Fall gets lost in the push for early holiday sets, the glitz, the glam, the jewel tones with icy toppers. The reds with gold shimmer and the golds with red shimmer. Honestly, holiday is often such a rehash, w/mini combos of brand faves, often offshore manufactured with somewhat corner-cut ingredients, to make the sets less expensive. Offshore can be fab, especially on their own products, but give them a mandate to downgrade US products: they can do it. Fall, especially where the seasons truly change, is a superb inspiration. Muted palettes w/murky olives and drabbed greens, faded pumpkin, various apple shades, oblique sunlight, and the brighter shades of maple leaves. So much! The two major holidays: Halloween usually gets some play, but what about Thanksgiving? CP could do a niner on the pies alone! SG seems to be the only brand to address fall directly and beautifully. I would love to see a Veteran’s Day palette that commemorated the contributions of the US’s melting pot of people. The Code Talkers, the Tuskeegee Airmen, Rosie the Riveter, Taraji’s character from a Hidden Figures, the Minutemen, repeal of Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell. Something non-controversial that shows pride for all. Enough, well, oversaid.

Canadian and US Thanksgivings are in different months. That sort of collection would need to come out in September. There are a lot of warm neutrals. Maybe some cooler ones.

Wonder why some lines don’t make a palette that has more fall like colours – the browns, greens, oranges, reds, etc., but also include some pre-spring transition shades.

Ha! I’m the opposite- fall colors make me look like absolute death and the season itself is cold and depressing to me. BUT to parrot a comment I saw on Instagram, a cool collegiate theme for fall could be a big winner! Tweedy browns, greens, blues… much more up my alley than variations on a theme of mustard, orange and red!

I would love it as a time to promote cools, cool-neutrals and jeweltones. After I’ve made it through spring pastels and summer warms and yellows that I can’t wear, I would like one season—ONE—that I could rely on for colors that actually work with my complexion. Sure, holiday collections usually do, but they’re also almost always red & silver. (And when they aren’t, what’s presented instead makes me wish for red & silver.)

Seriously, if it’s slow anyway, give us cool undertones a season to not dread.

Yessiree! I sure would! Fall/autumn I my color “season” or whatever. These are my best shades anyways, so of course I welcome them in cosmetic shade collections. Might even get that featured palette, but only use the sodium saccharine infused shades on my mid-lid and avoid using those 4 in my inner corner/tearduct. That TF Pumpkin Spice looks like autumn with a touch of wintery coolness blown in!

Autumn is my favourite season for clothing, for makeup, for food – I love autumn though around here it only lasts about 15 minutes and then we’re into blizzard season. So I’d love to see more autumn palettes but not those loaded with pumpkin orange and red shades; Chanel’s Tisse d’Automne and Dior’s Bonne Etoile are examples of the kinds of colours I like to see for fall.

Autumn is a ‘warm’ coloured season, going straight into the festive season which tends do be golden, reds, warm browns ect. I would really love to see some real winter colours as in frosty (dark) pastels, taupes, greys, ect…
I’ve seen more posts here about cool toned people being way less served in these days of palette overload 😉

You know the more I see that Too Faced palette, the pretty it looks! and of all the fall collections (or Holiday) this one in your photo and PMG’s mega palette are my favorites! They just look so fall and yet juicy!
