What blush finish do you wish brands would explore more?
I love a satin/luminous blush; something that’s glowing and has a bit of sheen but not larger shimmer,s o it doesn’t read frosted or metallic.

Ditto for me, Christine. I also need something that doesn’t emphasize the texture I have on my cheeks although, to some degree anything with shimmer does so ….
Satin and skin-like finish mattes. I find that some shimmery blushes emphasize my smile crinkles high up on my cheekbones, and true mattes tend to look just too dry and unnatural for my taste. Satins and the more natural finish mattes are far more forgiving on my cheeks and I prefer their more real looking flush, too.
Gelee formulas like Clinique Cheek Pops or MAC Extra Dimension. Does that count as a blush finish? Whatever they are!
Duochromes! This could also be done in a satin finish (which I agree we need more of) but I would love to see more blushes like Cargo Gotham (warm pink base color with blue satin sheen). I really enjoy blushes with contrasting shimmer/sheen.
I like a luminous blush but I also prefer my blushes on the sheer side because I tend to smoke up my eyes and go bright on my lips.
As always, I’d love to see duo- and multi-chromes. And I agree about satins. Not many brands seems to do them, but they’re very flattering.
I think that a lot of us are agreeing that more satin finishes – be it lipstick, blushes or eyeshadows are worth exploring by brands.
