Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Swatches (x19)

A few weeks ago, when Neiman Marcus had all of the Marc Jacobs Beauty line discounted to 50%, I decided to pick up shades from the Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer formula I hadn’t reviewed previously… well, now they are buy two, get 40% off through May 13th at Sephora and Marc Jacobs Beauty (bringing the total to $34.80 for two).

They’ve discounted several formulas recently, and I know Air Blush was discontinued and imagine the Lip Creme range has been as well… curious whether these are next.  In the spirit of not sitting on these before they’re of zero use (since I already bought them), here are swatches of the additional 19 shades I bought…

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Hi Christine–Thanks for posting! I know you may not review, but did any capture you in terms of applying and looking smooth?

Thanks!

I’ve reviewed this formula in the past – you can read the formula overview for the full range if you lookup past reviews!

When I am applying for swatches, it is more robotic – I am working as quickly as possible, so I don’t process what I’m doing that much! It’s during the testing process where I make any individual notes!

These at least look as if they are leveling well and not pooling in the lip lines. Check out the earlier ones for the formula description.

Some of these look really nice, but I’m unlikely to pick any up right now.
I’m disappointed to see the Air Blush was actually discontinued. I suppose I could have put two and two together when I saw them on sale a few weeks back, but I know sales also happen for other reasons or sometimes there’s a branding/packaging change that causes them to discount an item, but not discontinue the product itself. I’m glad I picked up the few I was coveting a few weeks ago now. The formula and shades are fantastic.

Having been off the social media whirlwind for the past several weeks I am wondering what is happening with Marc Jacobs? Have I missed something? Are they revamping, rebranding or just getting rid of a lot of products? Regarding this post, I love the pink/fushcia shades, of course and they are more pigmented than I had originally thought, based on the ability to really see your lip freckle. Most of the shades that I like and would use are pretty opaque.
